Jon Turner Hits a Lovely Flop to Crack Aces

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Jon Turner
Jon Turner

Jon Turner open jammed from early position for 1,075,000, and action folded around to Nikan Javadzadeh on the button, who also moved all-in for slightly less than Turner. Both blinds folded.

Nikan Javadzadeh: AAAll in
Jon Turner: 109

A miracle flop of 768 gave Turner the nut straight, and when the 2 came on the turn, Javadzadeh was drawing dead. The irrelevant K sealed the deal on the river to send Javadzadeh packing after his aces were cracked.

Seth Levin: A4 All in
Jon Turner: 108

The board came out with AJ84J, and two pair for Levin earned him double the chips.

Fei Keeps on Building

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Wesley Fei
Wesley Fei

Peter Placey raised to 250,000 from early position, only for Wesley Fei to three-bet to 650,000. Placey called, and the players both checked the JK6 flop to see the 2 drop on the turn.

Placey checked to Fei, who bet out for 700,000. Placey went into the tank for a while and announced that he was all-in. Fei snap-called.

Peter Placey: KQAll in
Wesley Fei: AA

"Yes, come on! Hold!" exclaimed Fei when the cards were turned.

The river bricked out with the 4, and Placey was sent packing while Fei pulled in another monster pot and has cracked the 10,000,000 chip mark.

Simpson Spikes Turn to Double

Ian Simpson
Ian Simpson

When the action folded to Ian Simpson, he moved all in for 1,575,000. Only Daniel Clemente made the call, doing so from the small blind.

Ian Simpson: A10 All in
Daniel Clemente: AQ

It was an unenviable position for Simpson, who was at risk and dominated.

The flop offered no help, coming down 722. The turn changed things, though, as Simpson took the lead with the 10.

The river J kept Simpson's lead intact, seeing him earn a full double up.
