Four players headed to the 7♥7♠J♥ flop that saw Alex Foxen and Chaoxing Li check from the blinds. Felipe Campins bet 600 out of the cutoff, and was met by a raise to 3,600 by Julius Threadgill on the button. Foxen and Li folded, but Campins stuck around with a call.
Campins check-called a bet of 4,200 from Threadgill on the 2♦ turn to see the 2♠ fall on the river. Campins led out for 6,600, which Threadgill reluctantly called.
Campins showed the winner with A♦7♣6♥3♦ for trip sevens. Threadgill turned over the 7♦ to show he also had trips, but Campins won the pot because he had the higher kicker.
Action was picked up on the river, with a board reading 9♦2♠7♥A♥6♦ and 30,000 in the middle. Michal Schuh in the small blind had checked his option over to Nacho Barbero on the button, who then shoved his remaining 23,000.
Schuh went into the tank for around two minutes before eventually making the call.
"Ace-nine," announced Barbero as he showed A♠10♠10♥9♣. "You have aces?"
His assessment was correct as Schuh showed A♣A♦Q♥10♣ for top set.
Barbero busted shortly after. He has since rebought.
Song Wang made it 600 from the cutoff with Pei Li calling from the button, and Danny Schechter calling out of the small blind. Farhad Jamasi spoiled the party, as he bumped up the price of poker by three-betting to 3,000. Wang folded, but Li and Schechter called.
The dealer revealed a flop of J♦7♣J♠, causing Schechter and Jamasi to check. Li bet 3,600, which only Jamasi called.
The J♥ fell on the turn, and both players checked to see the 3♥ come on the river. Jamasi led out for 5,000, and Li released his cards.

Today marks the start of Day 1 of Event #96: $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Six-Handed, a three-day tournament that allows two reentries.
Day 1 starts at 2 p.m. local time on Sunday, July 13. Players sit down armed with 40,000 chips and play to 40-minute levels for the first six levels before levels extend to 60 minutes thereafter. Late registration is available for the first ten levels until approximately 11 p.m.
Fifteen-minute breaks are scheduled after Level 3 and Level 6, then every two levels thereafter. No dinner break is planned.
Day 2 shuffles up and deals at 1 p.m. local time on July 14, where another ten levels will play out. The third and final day kicks off at 1 p.m. local time on July 15, continuing until a champion is crowned.
Alex Livingston is this event's reigning champion. Livingston topped an 844-strong field to capture his second bracelet and $390,621 in prize money. The mixed-game specialist was delighted to win a bracelet in a pot-limit Omaha tournament.
