Mehamed Doubles Without Seeing a Turn

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Xiaochuan Zhang raised to 25,000 from the cutoff with Alan Mehamed calling from the small blind. Scott Seiver three-bet to 100,000 from the big blind, which was called by both of his opponents.

Mehamed checked the 10AQ flop, and Seiver chose to check behind. Zhang fired 140,000 into the middle, prompting Mehamed to jam for 204,000 total. Seiver announced "fold," and after a few moments of thinking, Zhang also folded. Mehamed was able to almost double-up without seeing a turn.

Burkett Scores Double KO

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

On a flop of 459 Corey Wright announced "pot," from the small blind, putting out 48,000. Samuel Burkett flatted the bet from the hijack, before Kyle Knecht went all in for 206,000 on the button. Wright went deep into the tank, and after about three minutes another player at the table called the clock. On a $300 pay jump, he ended up calling all in for 114,000 before the clock even started. Burkett snapped it off.

Corey Wright: K1044 All in
Kyle Knecht: KQ1010 All in
Samuel Burkett: A633

The Q turn fired Burkett into the lead. Knecht was dead despite holding the second nuts, and only a board pairing would save Wright. The 6 river meant that Knecht made the pay jump, as he had Wright covered, and Burkett would scoop the whole pot.

Plante Asks for Help

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Stian Usterud made it 28,000 from the cutoff and Santiago Plante called from the button. Zachary Reinbold squeezed to 110,000 out of the big blind, which Usterud and Plante called.

The dealer revealed a flop of 542 and Reinbold led out for 45,000. Usterud instantly folded, but Plante went into the tank. After thinking for quite some time, Plante folded while revealing AJ98 and asked the table, "Help me guys, what should I do?".

While Reinbold was pulling in the chips, Daniel Zack began to give Plante some free coaching on what the correct play was with his hand.

Alan Mehamed limped from the cutoff before Scott Seiver raised to 36,000 from the button. After the blinds folded, Mehamed made the call.

Both players checked the K4K flop to see the 2 roll off on the turn. Mehamed checked, and Seiver fired a delayed continuation-bet of 30,000. Mehamed immediately check-raised to 75,000, which was enough to get Seiver to fold.

Cameron Tung raised to 20,000 under the gun and only Ian Matakis called from the big blind.

Matakis check-called a bet of 30,000 from Tung on the J3K flop.

The 7 turn got a second check from Matakis, and a second bet by Tung, this time for 105,000. Matakis check-jammed for Tung's remaining 250,000. Tung went into the tank for around a minute before folding and surrendering the pot to Matakis.
