Brad Albrinck
Brad Albrinck

Fahredin Mustafov opened to 360,000 from the small blind and Brad Albrinck called from the big blind.

The flop came 6J9 and Mustafov shoved, covering Albrinck who had around 750,000 left. Albrinck called and was at risk.

Brad Albrinck: J1087 All in
Fahredin Mustafov: J854

Both players had top pair but Albrinck had a wrap to go along with it. The A5 runout gave Albrinck a straight to double through Mustafov.

The next hand saw Richard Gryko open to 325,000 from the cutoff and Albrinck three-bet to 1,095,000 from the small blind. Gryko called.

The flop came 634 and Albrinck shoved for 1,210,000. Gryko called with a covering stack to put him at risk.

Brad Albrinck: A865 All in
Richard Gryko: QQ107

Albrinck had top pair and a straight draw while Gryko was ahead with an overpair. The 910 runout changed nothing for either player and Albrinck was sent to the rail one spot shy of the final table.

Ausmus Waits Out the Tank

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

Richard Gryko opened the action from the cutoff with a raise to 275,000. His only customer was Jeremy Ausmus, who defended his big blind.

The 10KQ flop brought a bet of 200,000 from Gryko when checked to, and Ausmus just flatted. The 10 river then checked through, bringing in the brick 6 river. Here, Ausmus led out for the first time, betting the max of 1,100,000. Gryko went deep into the tank, and was motionless for a good five minutes. Eventually, he flicked in a chip, then some more upon seeing that he was beaten by the KK96 of Ausmus for top boat.

Tumboli Shows the Nuts

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

In a limped pot, all four players at the table saw the flop come down 4K8. After a few checks, Zarvan Tumboli bet 275,000 from the button, and only Daniel Zack called out of the cutoff.

The J turn checked through for the 5 to appear on the river. Zack checked again, and Tumboli fired out 650,000. Zack thought about it for a while before deciding to fold.

Tumboli was kind enough to let Zack pick two of his cards to flip over. Zack chose the 108, at which point Tumboli flipped the A himself, showing that he had the nuts.

Brad Albrinck
Brad Albrinck

Brad Albrinck raised to 350,000 from the button and Richard Gryko called from the big blind.

Albrinck's remaining 450,000 got into the middle on the 10A8 flop with Gryko making the call to try and send the tournament to the final table.

Brad Albrinck: QJ84 All in
Richard Gryko: J1082

Albrinck had a straight draw, while Gryko was in the lead with bottom two pair. The rest of the board ran out A9, giving Albrinck the winner with a straight on the river, and he doubled up again.

Mustafov Takes it Down on the River

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Richard Gryko made it 275,000 from the cutoff with Fahredin Mustafov calling from the button, and Jeremy Ausmus defending his big blind.

Everyone checked the 10J5 flop to see the 8 appear on the turn. Two more checks happened before Mustafov bet 650,000. Ausmus called, but Gryko folded.

Ausmus checked for the last time on the 9 river, and Mustafov bet 1,650,000. Ausmus mulled it over briefly before opting to fold and surrender the pot to Mustafov.

Albrinck Doubles But Still Short

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Brad Albrinck open-potted to 350,000 on the button, leaving just 50,000 behind. Richard Gryko raised from the big blind to put him all in, and he made the call.

Brad Albrinck: J995 All in
Richard Gryko: K432

Albrick turned a straight on the 610878 runout, meaning he had nothing to fade on the river. Gryko paid him out as he attempts to continue a spin-up.

Ausmus Leaves Him on the Albrinck of Elimination

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

Brad Albrinck called from the small blind and Jeremy Ausmus raised to 300,000 from the big blind.

Albrinck knuckled the action over to Ausmus on the J76 flop, and Ausmus bet 400,000. Albrinck check-raised the pot to 2,000,000, causing Ausmus to go into the tank. After a few moments of thinking, Ausmus jammed for 2,190,000. Albrinck immediately called.

Brad Albrinck: A885

Aumus had top pair against the straight draw of Albrinck. The 5 turn gave Albrinck a few more outs, and the 8 river may have improved Albrinck to a set, but Ausmus also improved to the nut straight.

Ausmus doubled up, while Albrinck was now the tournament short stack.

Ryan Leng Eliminated in 9th Place ($43,538)

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Ryan Leng
Ryan Leng

With two players seeing a board of K77 and roughly 600,000 in the middle, Ryan Leng checked from the small blind and Richard Gryko bet 200,000 from the big blind. Leng called.

Gryko continued for 500,000 when checked to on the 4 turn. Leng shoved for a bit over a million and Gryko snap-called with a covering stack to put him at risk.

Ryan Leng: A543 All in
Richard Gryko: KQ76

Leng had a gutshot to a straight flush but was drawing dead against Gryko's full house given that Gryko held the six of diamonds. Leng exited the tournament area after the A river fell while Gryko extended his lead over the rest of the field.

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Fahredin Mustafov
Fahredin Mustafov

With around 1,000,000 in the pot already, Jeremy Ausmus led out from the big blind for pot on the flop of J75. Fahredin Mustafov jammed from the button for 1,920,000, and Ausmus called.

Fahredin Mustafov: 9775 All in
Jeremy Ausmus: AAK6

Ausmus had aces, but Mustafov flopped a set and looked poised to double-up. The 9 turn and 3 river didn't improve Ausmus, and he had to send around half of his stack over to Mustafov.
