Fahredin Mustafov opened to 360,000 from the small blind and Brad Albrinck called from the big blind.

The flop came 6♦J♠9♥ and Mustafov shoved, covering Albrinck who had around 750,000 left. Albrinck called and was at risk.

Both players had top pair but Albrinck had a wrap to go along with it. The A♠5♦ runout gave Albrinck a straight to double through Mustafov.

The next hand saw Richard Gryko open to 325,000 from the cutoff and Albrinck three-bet to 1,095,000 from the small blind. Gryko called.

The flop came 6♠3♥4♣ and Albrinck shoved for 1,210,000. Gryko called with a covering stack to put him at risk.

Ausmus Waits Out the Tank

Richard Gryko opened the action from the cutoff with a raise to 275,000. His only customer was Jeremy Ausmus, who defended his big blind.

The 10♥K♣Q♦ flop brought a bet of 200,000 from Gryko when checked to, and Ausmus just flatted. The 10♦ river then checked through, bringing in the brick 6♣ river. Here, Ausmus led out for the first time, betting the max of 1,100,000. Gryko went deep into the tank, and was motionless for a good five minutes. Eventually, he flicked in a chip, then some more upon seeing that he was beaten by the K♥K♠9♠6♦ of Ausmus for top boat.

Tumboli Shows the Nuts

In a limped pot, all four players at the table saw the flop come down 4♣K♦8♥. After a few checks, Zarvan Tumboli bet 275,000 from the button, and only Daniel Zack called out of the cutoff.

The J♦ turn checked through for the 5♦ to appear on the river. Zack checked again, and Tumboli fired out 650,000. Zack thought about it for a while before deciding to fold.

Tumboli was kind enough to let Zack pick two of his cards to flip over. Zack chose the 10♣8♦, at which point Tumboli flipped the A♦ himself, showing that he had the nuts.

Albrinck's remaining 450,000 got into the middle on the 10♥A♣8♣ flop with Gryko making the call to try and send the tournament to the final table.

Mustafov Takes it Down on the River

Richard Gryko made it 275,000 from the cutoff with Fahredin Mustafov calling from the button, and Jeremy Ausmus defending his big blind.

Everyone checked the 10♠J♥5♣ flop to see the 8♥ appear on the turn. Two more checks happened before Mustafov bet 650,000. Ausmus called, but Gryko folded.

Ausmus checked for the last time on the 9♣ river, and Mustafov bet 1,650,000. Ausmus mulled it over briefly before opting to fold and surrender the pot to Mustafov.

Albrinck knuckled the action over to Ausmus on the J♥7♦6♣ flop, and Ausmus bet 400,000. Albrinck check-raised the pot to 2,000,000, causing Ausmus to go into the tank. After a few moments of thinking, Ausmus jammed for 2,190,000. Albrinck immediately called.

With two players seeing a board of K♦7♦7♥ and roughly 600,000 in the middle, Ryan Leng checked from the small blind and Richard Gryko bet 200,000 from the big blind. Leng called.

Gryko continued for 500,000 when checked to on the 4♦ turn. Leng shoved for a bit over a million and Gryko snap-called with a covering stack to put him at risk.
