Gagliano Pays Off Galiana

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Antonio Galiana made it 2,400,000 to go from under the gun and was called only by Michael Gagliano in the big blind. They checked the 863 flop to the 2 turn and subsequently the J river.

Gagliano, who had 87 checked again and then paid off a bet worth 4,800,000 by Galiana to get shown the AK for the nut flush, prompting vivid "vamooooossss" from the Spanish rail.

The Action Slows Down

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Michael Gagliano QQ raised to 2,500,000 and was called by Rami Hammoud 44 only, who then check-folded the A62 flop to a bet of 1,700,000.

Hammoud JJ made it 2,500,000 to go on the button and Lucas Jumalon 63 defended the big blind to the 10109 flop, on which the preflop raiser bet 1,500,000 to win the pot right there.

Gagliano 86 raised to 2,500,000 and met resistance in person of Hammoud Q10, who three-bet to 7,500,000. Everyone folded and Santiago Plante was the only one to scream "let's goooooo".

More for Gagliano Without Post Flop Action

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Saaskilahti Keeps Hammoud At Bay

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Lucas Jumalon K9 raised to 2,500,000 and Michael Gagliano KJ called from the small blind, as did Antonio Galiana 87 in the big blind.

The QQ5 flop brought no action and the 5 turn paired the board for the second time, yet was checked through once more. That led to the A on the river and both blinds checked to Jumalon who took it down uncontested with a bet of 3,000,000.

Lauri Saaskilahti AA raised to 2,500,000 next and was called only by Rami Hammoud K7 out of the big blind. After they checked the KJ8 flop, Hammoud led the 4 turn for 4,500,000 and Saaskilahti called. Hammoud bet the 10 river for 2,500,000 and Saaskilahti raised it up to 10,000,000. One time bank later, Hammoud folded.

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

The 9 turn went check, check, and Saaskilahti checked the 4 river. Gagliano bet 7,000,000 into 10,200,000 and Saaskilahti reluctantly folded.

Slower Action on the Main Table

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Antonio Galiana raised to 2,500,000 from under the gun and Michael Gagliano came along from the big blind to a flop of J98 flop that was checked right away to the 6 turn. Gagliano checked again and so did Galiana. On the 4 river, both checked again and Gagliano won the pot with 87. Galiana mucked A10.

Rami Hammoud joined the post break activities with a raise to 2,400,000 and found no callers.

Lauri Saaskilahti made it 2,500,000 to go from the cutoff and Hammoud in the big blind three-bet big to 12,500,000. That was enough to force out the Finn after very brief consideration.

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Hossein Ensan
Hossein Ensan

Lauri Saaskilahti raised the button to 2,000,000 and Hossein Ensan three-bet jammed out of the small blind for 26,400,000. Michael Gagliano in the big blind asked for an exact count and then called, which got rid of Saaskilahti and his J10.

Hossein Ensan: AQ All in
Michael Gagliano: KK

The Q54 flop gave Ensan more outs but he was drawing dead on the K turn to make the A river bittersweet as Ensan's aces and queens ended up second-best. The only former WSOP Main Event champion in the field departed in 13th place for $510,000, while Gagliano soared to nearly 82 big blinds.
