The turn was the 10♣ and the river the 10♠ with the Frenchman sent home in eighth place, taking home $1,250,000 for his efforts.

Boos spoke to Jeff Platt after his elimination, explaining that his rail had been "the best support he could imagine."

"I think I played well," he said. "I just played my game during the entire tournament and it worked."
