Pousset Takes From Ben Zaken

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Omri Ben Zaken three-bet to 2,400 and was called only by Kilian Pousset only as they headed to the AK7 flop. Pousset check-called for 1,100 and the 9 turn was checked, as was the 9 on the river. Pousset tabled the 77 for sevens full of nines to win a rather small pot.

Meisser Leaves Beaupre on Fumes

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Marco Meisser
Marco Meisser

Players were three-ways and on the flop with a pot of around 25,000. They were looking at a 375 board and John Parker had bet 10,000 from the big blind. Marco Meisser called from the cutoff and John Parker folded from the small blind.

A 7 turn saw Beaupre move all in for his last 40,100. Meisser had just 39,000 behind and made the call for his tournament life.

Marco Meisser: 55All in
Shawn Beaupre: AA

Meisser had flopped a set of fives, and turned the boat, which was holding against Beaupre's pocket aces.

With only another ace as an out, the 6 river did nothing to save Beaupre's stack from being pushed across the table, and he was down to just a handful of big blind.

In the next hand Georgios Sotiropoulos opened from late position and covered Beaupre's last 1,200. Beaupre made the quick call and the pair went to showdown.

Shawn Beaupre: K6All in
Georgios Sotiropoulos: K6

With no player holding hearts, the 6A2 flop did nothing to differentiate the hands. Beaupre was only able to gain 200 from the hand after the 3 turn and Q river was placed.

Cochran Wins a Battle of the Blinds

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

From the small blind, Shane Cochran led out for 1,000 on the 8J7 flop, and Andrey Marsavin called from the big blind.

The 2 arrived on the turn, and Cochran attempted to bet 800, but due to an illegal forward motion, the bet was ruled to be just 400. Marsavin wasn't deterred and made the call.

Cochran fired a third barrel of 1,500 on the 2 river, and this time it was enough to force a fold from Marsavin.

Stewart Impedes Marchington

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

The pot had blown up to over 25,000 when this hand was picked up on a complete board of 83228.

Nick Marchington was first to act from the hijack in a heads-up pot and gave it some consideration before he decided on a check.

Donna Stewart obliged with a check back as the two went to a showdown.

Marchington showed 66 for eights and sixes, but it was no good as Stewart was better with 99 for nines up to score the healthy pot and get back over the starting stack.

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

The former WSOP dealer of the year turned mixed game player Heather Alcorn check-called the J825 turn for 700 against Rudolph Dirubbo. Both checked the Q on the river and Dirubbo announced "just a jack" to win the pot with the J9.

Fabian Quoss

In a pot of 6,500, Fabian Quoss checked the 386 flop from the big blind to Mauricio Solano in the cutoff. Solano bet 2,800, which Quoss called.

After the 9 turn checked through, Quoss bet 8,000 on the 2 river. Solano snap-called, but he could not beat Quoss' QQ and consequently mucked his hand.

Yurukoglu's River Bet Does the Job

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Thomas Minnichweber checked from the big blind on the turn of a board showing 9KK8. With around 10,000 in the pot, Ali Yurukoglu bet 7,000 from the button. Minnichweber called to see the river.

The 5 completed the board, and Minnichweber checked for a final time. Yurukoglu slid out three red-and-white T-5,000 chips, and after a brief pause, Minnichweber folded his hand.

Crossmock Bets Thousands

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

After three people put in 1,200 preflop, Jonathan Floyd checked to Steven Crossmock on the A4Q flop. Crossmock announced a bet of 1,000, which only Floyd called.

Crossmock tossed in another 1,000 on the K turn. Floyd check-called again, after which the 5 river was checked to showdown.

Crossmock showed JJ, but it was barely not enough, as Floyd had flopped a higher pair with Q10 to add to his stack.

Correia Steals it Away From Fernandez

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

With almost 5,000 in the pot on the 10A3 flop, Albert Fernandez checked from the cutoff, and Francisco Correia bet 1,200 on the button. Fernandez check-raised to 2,400, and Correia called.

The 9 rolled off on the turn, and Fernandez slowed down with a check. Correia fired 9,500, and after giving it some thought, Fernandez decided the best option was to fold.
