Meisser Came for Beaupre's Change

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Marco Meisser
Marco Meisser

Shortly after Meisser knocked down Beaupre to just a handful of chips, the pair were caught in another battle.

Marco Meisser opened to 2,000 from early position and Matheus Grazziotin called from the hijack. Shawn Beaupre moved all in for his last 1,400 from the cutoff and the players went three-ways to the 410J flop.

Both non-all-in players snap checked to the 9 turn and Meisser bet 1,500. Grazziotin stuck around and paid to see the Q complete the board and Meisser asked for around 2,000. Grazziotin went into the tank and meanwhile Beaupre was sitting patiently waiting to see his fate.

Grazziotin eventually made the call and Meisser showed his king-queen for the straight. Grazziotin flahsed his hand to his neighbor and then pushed his cards across the table face down and into the muck.

Matheus Grazziotin: 87
Marco Meisser: KQ

Another player at the table picked up the cards and flipped over Grazziotin's hand as if you show one you show all revealing he had the smaller straight. Beaupre pushed his hand towards the dealer and his cards stayed face down, and he was quietly eliminated from the tournament.

Moraes Forces Out Adam

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

On the river of a Q9482 board, Mateus Moraes checked and Alfie Adam bet 6,500. Moraes then check-raised big to 40,000 with few chips behind and that sent Adam into the tank before he folded.

Adam reluctantly folded and Moraes asked "nines?" before he flashed his QJ for just a pair of queens.

Breno Drummond raised to 600 in middle position, and Arlene Weinsier called in the hijack. William O'Neal then three-bet to 2,500, which both Drummond and Weinsier called.

The action checked to O'Neal on a 277 flop, who continued with a bet of 4,000. Drumond put in a check-raise to 10,000, which saw Weinsier fold but O'Neal call.

Drumond continued with a bet of 9,000 on the 9 turn, and, after a lengthy tank, O'Neal called.

The A river completed the board, and Drumond fired out one more time, putting half of his stack into the pot, 22,000. O'Neal snap-called.

Drumond tabled 86, for just eight-high.

"What's he got?" O'Neal asked. Upon receiving the news, he tabled 1010 to claim the pot.
