Sykes Takes From Bilzerian

Dan Bilzerian raised to 700 and was called only by Adam Sykes in the cutoff. The 763 flop saw Bilzerian continue for 400 and Sykes called before Bilzerian checked the 2 on the turn. Sykes made it 2,000 to go and won the pot right there without any further resistance.

Kohal Arai who was on the button bet 12,000, and Micah Scarpelli in the big blind called.

Aria went all in for 33,500 on the 7 turn, and Scarpelli went deep into the tank before he eventually called.

Fox Steals Small from St. Vincent

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Maggie Fox opened to 700 from under the gun and Bradley St. Vincent called on the button.

A 576 flop saw Fox bet 400 and St. Vincent called. The 6 was turned and Fox checked. St. Vincent bet 1,100 and Fox called.

The Q river saw both check to showdown and Fox showed her JJ for two pair. It was enough to make St. Vincent push his hand into the muck and she picked up a small pot.

Dan Bilzerian has arrived on Day 1c, and he did not sit around and wait as he played the first three hands after he took his place in the main event.

He announced his presence with an open to 700 from the hijack. Donald Proctor called from the cutoff and Brunno Neves joined from the small blind.

It was checked to Bilzerian on the 579 flop before he continued for 1,200. Proctor called, but Neves folded.

The 4 turn did not slow Bilzerian down as he fired 3,000. Proctor obliged with a call.

Bilzerian emptied the clip on the 9 river to the tune of 7,500. Proctor made the call.

Bilzerian showed K6 for a wiffed straight draw. Proctor tabled QQ to claim the pot.

The second hand was a raised pot preflop that went three-handed to a flop of 5910. Bilzerian fired 1,000 and was called by Neves on the button and Scott Reginatto in the big blind.

All three players knuckled the 9 turn to bring the 2 river. Reginatto checked it over to Bilzerian, who opted to bet 1,400 in response. Reginatto folded.

Bilzerian was at it again when he opened to 700 from early position and was called by Reginatto in the small blind and Fabrizio Rosa in the big blind.

It was checked to Bilzerian on the flop of AQQ before he wagered 1,300. Reginatto called, while Rosa folded.

The 9 turn saw no action as both players checked to bring the J river. Reginatto flicked out a bet of 1,200. Bilzerian called and sent them to a showdown.

Reginatto showed KQ for trip queens as Bilzerian mucked his hand.

Three-ways to the turn with the board reading KJ8Q, Christian Roberts checked from the small blind to Steven Kyler who bet 4,000 from under the gun. Kevin MacPhee called on the button before Roberts check-raised to 14,000. Kyler called before MacPhee quickly got out of the way.

The river brought the 4 as Roberts placed a stack of green T-25,000 and red T-5,000 chips into the middle, covering the stack of Kyler who had about 55,000 behind. After a minute's tank, Kyler opted to let it go, and Roberts dragged the pot without showdown as his stack grows over two times starting.

Arieh Building Up a Stack on Day 1c

After an early-position limp, Josh Arieh raised to 1,100 from the next seat. Anthony Apicella three-bet to 3,500 from the small blind, and only Arieh called to see a flop.

The dealer spread the 223 flop, and Apicella continued for 2,000. Arieh elected to call.

The Q arrived on the turn, and Apicella fired again, this time for 3,500. Once more, Arieh called.

The 4 completed the runout, and Apicella slowed down with a check. Arieh gathered together a bet of 13,000, which was enough to force a fold from Apicella.

Stephen Driggers opened to 800 from the cutoff and Daniel Zeihen called from the big blind.

The 10AQ flop saw both check to the 5 turn and Zeihen check-called a 700 bet by Driggers.

The 7 river saw Zeihen check, Driggers bet 1,200 and Zeihen snap called. Driggers tabled his KJ having slopped the striaght and Zeihen quickly mucked.

The 10 river was quickly checked to showdown. Miles tabled 109 for two pair, but Miles had rivered a straight with AQ to take the pot.

May picked up the pot after he tabled QQ.
