Driggers Takes From Zeihen

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

There were roughly 3,000 chips in the pot on a flop of A10K.

Daniel Zeihen who was under the gun fired out a bet of 1,200, and Stephen Driggers on the button made the call.

Zeihen slowed down with a check on the 4, then Driggers bet 1,100, and Zeihen called.

Both players checked on the 5 river. Zeihen tabled JJ but could not beat Driggers hand of A2.

Aces Early Help Triantafylidis Chip Up

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

With the board showing 55K88, Lester Hauglid placed out a bet of 3,500 from middle position and was met by a raise to 8,000 by Petros Triantafylidis in the next seat. Hauglid stuck in the call after a few moments.

Triantafylidis turned over AA for an overpair, which earned him the pot as Hauglid tabled a K for a pair of kings.

Early Value for Bold

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Joseph Bold raised to 500 in the hijack, which only Joey Padron called in the big blind.

The action checked through on a 85A flop before Bold put in a delayed continuation-bet of 1,300 on the K turn, which Padron check-called.

Padron check-called again on the flush-completing 3 river, when Bold barrelled for 3,000.

Bold tabled A4 for the nut flush, and Padron mucked his cards.

Tabet Tumbles Early to Dinh

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Andy Dinh
Andy Dinh

In one of the first hands of the day, Charles Tabet went head-to-head with Andy Dinh.

Tabet was in the small blind and against Dinh in the cutoff, and the pair were already looking at the 73949 board. The pot had already swelled to around 9,000, and Dinh had asked for 12,800 on the river.

Action was on Tabet to make the call, and as he lifted his chips across the line, Dinh tabled his Q9 for the set of nines, which was enough to make Tabet muck his hand and pass a sizable chunk of his stack across the table.

River Bet By Vanwyhe Gets it Done

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Nicolas Godard was second to act and opened to 400. Michael Banducci called from the hijack, but Benedict Cullen three-bet to 1,200 from the cutoff.

Stephen Vanwyhe raised the price even further with a reraise to 5,200 from the big blind. Godard and Banducci folded, but Cullen was not done with the hand as he made the call.

The 624 flop led to a continuation-bet of 3,500 from Vanwyhe. Cullen made the call.

Both players knuckled the K turn to welcome the J river.

Vanwyhe got back to betting, this time with a wager of 7,000. That was the end of the road for Cullen as he folded to award the pot to Vanwyhe.

Small blind Kevin Ordet and Mark Davis on the button had amassed 5,000 in the middle when they saw the 945 flop. They both checked to the J turn, where Ordet bet out for 2,500.

Davis called to the 3 river. Ordet assembled an overbet of 12,000, but it was too much for Davis to call as he quickly folded.
