Wood check-called a 23,000 bet by Astrauskas to see the A♦ river. Both quickly checked to showdown and Wood tabled his A♣10♠. Astrauskas said, "F***," and showed just a single card from this hand A♥Xx. He continued with, "Ayayayay," as he revealed he had a worse two pair and passed across the pot.
Rene-Charles Angelil opened from under the gun. Bruce Axtman in middle position moved all in for 53,000 and started to talk. "I was going to call but now I don't know," Angelil said. He eventually made the call.
