Gonzalo Diaz raised to 6,000 from middle position, only for Ankit Wadhawan to three-bet to 18,000 from the next seat. Action came back to Diaz, who made the call.

The flop came J♣3♥2♥, and Diaz check-called Wadhawan's 16,000 continuation-bet for the players to see the 6♣ peel off on the turn. The action went check, check, and the dealer flipped over the 8♣ as the river.

Diaz bet 55,000, which sent Wadhawan briefly into the tank before he mucked his hand to send the pot to Diaz with no showdown.

Richard Gress opened to 6,000 on the button, and Mauro Raimondo called from the small blind. Blas Torres also defended his big blind, and the players went three-ways to the 2♦10♦K♠ flop.

The blinds checked to Gress, who moved out a 7,000 bet, and Raimondo made a quick call. Torres mucked his hand, and the pair continued heads-up to the 8♦ turn.

Both checked to see the 3♠ river, and Raimondo bet 12,000. Gress paused before flicking in a chip to call, and Raimondo tabled his top pair with K♣9♦. Gress showed K♥8♥ for two pair to take the pot.

Matthew Waxman opened to 6,000 from middle position to see Daichi Sawayanagi three-bet to 18,000 in the hijack, and only Waxman called.

The flop rolled out 10♥8♦4♠, and Waxman check-called a bet of 13,000 from Sawayanagi.

Both players checked the turn 5♠ to the river J♥, where Sawayanagi bet 52,000 after Waxman checked.

Waxman spent a couple of minutes pondering his decision, but in the end he opted to fold his hand, ceding the pot to Sawayanagi.

At another table, Benjamin Krauss was eliminated.

According to Hutter, they got it in preflop with Wick holding pocket queens including the Q♥ to pick up a flush draw that eventually bricked.

One hand after the disastrous setback, Wick jammed the remainder of his short stack and picked up the blinds.

Here, Rakuss took some time before opting to check over to his opponent yet again. Ruben checked back, then mucked upon seeing the 8♣8♠ of Rakuss, good for an eight-high straight.

"You're not repping much," Marcus stated as he thought things through.

Eventually, he went against his intuition and folded his hand. Vargas immediately flung open 5♣4♠, taking down the pot with his bluff.

Loren Browne woke up with a hand in the big blind and called off her last 40,000 or so, giving Fordham the chance to score a double knockout.

Fordham had just one card to find a queen, but the 8♦ was a brick, allowing Browne to nearly triple up while Franco made his exit from the event.
