Brian Roelke raised to 85,000 from under the gun and was called by Marc Goldman in the hijack. Ryan Riess then announced a squeeze to 380,000 from the small blind — leaving himself just 5,000 behind. Roelke moved all in for 1,800,000 and Goldman let his hand go after asking for a count. Riess tossed his last chip into the middle and hands were revealed.

Riess found himself dominated and in even worse shape after the K♦4♦Q♦ flop paired both players' kickers.
Riess was looking to hit trips, but the 5♥4♣ runout kept Roelke ahead with his pair of kings to send the 2013 champ to the rail.
Kenneth Asher raised to 80,000 in the cutoff, Albert Nguyen moved all in for 600,000 in the big blind, and Asher called.

Nguyen found himself dominated and at risk, and the 6♥4♠2♣Q♣5♥ board offered no help as Asher's jack kicker continued to play to send Nguyen to the rail.
Alex Foxen jammed all in on the button for 365,000. Ryan Miller called in the small blind before Dan Stavila three-bet to 905,000 in the big blind. Miller responded by reshoving, and Stavila immediately called off his 3,105,000.

A massive cooler had occured in the blinds. The 7♥J♣3♣A♣ turn gave Stavila top set. The final card was never shown on stream, but it was not a club as Stavila scooped up the massive pot, knocking Foxen out in the process.
Moonho Seo raised to 80,000 under the gun, which Arash Vaziri called in middle position before Fabio Porcino joined in from the button.
The 10♠J♥4♠ flop saw Seo check, Vaziri bet 125,000, which Porcino called before Seo folded.
Neither player bet on the K♣ turn, and the 10♦ completed the board. Vaziri bet 400,000, but after some time in the tank, Porcino raised to 1,000,000, which saw Vaziri snap-fold, returning his cards to the dealer.
Masato Yokosawa was down to just 350,000, which he got in from middle position against Dan Stavila in early position.

It was looking dire for Comeskey after the 2♣8♥J♥ flop, but she made a runner-runner full house on the J♣3♣ runout to stay alive and double up in the Main Event.

Xingyu Liu and Kenneth Hirose went to the turn on a board of 3♣10♥5♥4♥ when Liu bet 450,000 from under the gun. Hirose called in early position.
The river was the 7♠ and Liu bet 1,400,000. More than five minutes went by as Hirose continued to consider the decision before Liu eventually called the clock. Hirose then tossed his cards away, and Liu took the pot.
George Devlin raised to 80,000 from under the gun to see Arturas Astrauskas in the small blind and Sebastian Isselhard in the big blind call.
The flop rolled out 8♦7♥3♥ and action checked around to Devlin who bet 175,000. Astrauskas moved all in for 445,000 total and Isselhard quickly folded while Devlin sighed. He confirmed the count with the dealer and tossed in the chips to match.

"I can't win," lamented Devlin, right before the turn peeled off a 8♥ to give Astrauskas four eights. The river A♥ was meaningless to both players and the WSOPC ring winner survived his all-in confrontation.
