Hand #33: Lucas Jumalon in middle position opened to 4,000,000 with A♥5♣ and Saaskilahti with A♣K♠ three-bet to 10,500,000. Both blinds folded and Jumalon four-bet to 18,000,000. Saaskilahti announced a five-bet of 57,000,000 and Jumalon folded, pushing a big pot his way.

Hand #34: Jumalon opened to 4,000,000 with 7♥6♥, the action folded around to Greg Mueller in the small blind who three-bet to 18,000,000 with K♠Q♦. Jumalon called.

The flop came Q♠A♦8♦ giving Mueller second pair. Mueller bet 12,000,000 and Jumalon mucked.

Hand #35: Evagoras Evagorou raised to 4,000,000 from early position with 6♦6♣ and Han Feng in the big blind moved all-in for 17,500,000 with A♣K♥. Evagorou went into the tank for several minutes before the floor put him on a 30-second clock, which led to a quick fold.

The flop of 4♦9♠A♣ gave Mueller top pair. Feng checked, Mueller bet 3,000,000, and Feng mucked.

Hand #27: The action folded around to Feng in the small blind with K♥9♣, who moved all-in for 10,500,000. Feng scooped the pot as Rami Hammoud in the big blind didn't elect to call.

Hand #28: Lucas Jumalon under the gun opened to 4,000,000. Evagoras Evagorou in the big blind was the only caller.

The flop was Q♦10♣9♣, Evagorou checked, Jumalon asked for all his remaining chips and the Cypriot player moved all-in for 8,500,000.

The turn was the 3♥ and Evagorou improved to trips on the Q♠ river to secure a much-needed double.

Shot Clock Removal Having Minimal Impact on WSOP Main Event Final Table

There was heavy chatter about the WSOP's decision to remove the shot clock prior to the start of the Main Event final table, which kicked off Monday evening. But, to this point, the decision hasn't impacted play.

Action kicked off on ESPN2 at 9 p.m. ET with Lucas Jumalon holding a massive chip lead as nine players are all chasing the $10 million first-place prize. The 22-year-old chip leader came out firing without much resistance in the early goings. He made it through the first hour of play with a bit more than the 129 big blinds he bagged after Day 8 back in July.

The small stacks haven't picked up the hands necessary to fight back against Jumalon. But Michael Gagliano, one of the most experienced players at the final table, would win a big pot against the chip leader with ace-high after Jumalon, who was bluffing, couldn't find it in him to fire one last barrel.

Boos checked and Jumalon bet 3,000,000 on the K♥6♠5♦ flop. Boos folded.

Hand #24: Han Feng Q♦9♦ raised to 4,000,000 from early position. It folded to Greg Mueller in the big blind who shoved with A♦K♥.

Feng folded to be left with less than ten big blinds.

Hand #25: Lauri Saaskilahti raised to 4,000,000 with K♦Q♣ in the hijack. Jamie Shaevel defended his big blind with A♦7♦.

The flop came Q♦7♠6♠ giving both players a pair. Shaevel checked and Saaskilahti continued for 3,000,000. Shaevel called and the turn was the J♣

Shaevel checked again and Saaskilahti bet 9,000,000. This time Shaevel let his hand go.

Jumalon fired again for 10,000,000 into a pot of 17,000,000. Gagliano called again.

The Q♠ completed the board. Both players checked and Gagliano took the pot down with ace-high.
