David Lin Eliminated in 2nd Place ($288,711)

Level 26 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 150,000 ante
David Lin
David Lin

After just a few hands of the new level, David Lin raised the button to 250,000 and Naoya Kihara three-bet the big blind to 1,100,000. Lin four-bet jammed for 4,400,000, causing Kihara to go into the tank.

After thinking for around two minutes, Kihara put in the call to give himself a shot at winning the tournament. Kihara opted to draw one and Lin stood pat.

David Lin: 10x8x5x4x2x All in
Naoya Kihara: 6x5x3x2x

Lin had a pat ten and just needed to fade a ten, nine, eight, or seven to double-up into a huge chip lead.

Kihara flipped the card and he caught exactly what he needed in a 7x to give him a seven-six.

Lin had to settle for a runner-up finish and Kihara was the winner of Event #17: $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw Championship.

John Cynn: Jx10x9x5x All in
David Lin: Jx10x7x6x3x

Cynn was already drawing dead against Lin's jack-ten-seven, as the 7x he caught was irrelevant, and Cynn hit the rail in third place.

David Lin jammed the small blind and Ryutaro Suzuki called for his stack of 265,000 from the big blind. Both drew one card and then showed their hands.

Ryutaro Suzuki: 9x7x5x4x All in
David Lin: KxQx10x6x

Lin caught an Ax, which meant Suzuki just had to not pair to stay alive and keep the tournament four-handed.

Suzuki and the rail were asking, "picture, picture", but the deck didn't comply, as instead he squeezed a 9x to give him a pair, sending him to the rail in fourth place.

Shaun Deeb: 10x6x5x3x2x All in
John Cynn: 8x7x6x4x3x
