David Lin Eliminated in 2nd Place ($288,711)
Level 26
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 150,000 ante
After just a few hands of the new level, David Lin raised the button to 250,000 and Naoya Kihara three-bet the big blind to 1,100,000. Lin four-bet jammed for 4,400,000, causing Kihara to go into the tank.
After thinking for around two minutes, Kihara put in the call to give himself a shot at winning the tournament. Kihara opted to draw one and Lin stood pat.
David Lin: 10x8x5x4x2x
Naoya Kihara: 6x5x3x2x
Lin had a pat ten and just needed to fade a ten, nine, eight, or seven to double-up into a huge chip lead.
Kihara flipped the card and he caught exactly what he needed in a 7x to give him a seven-six.
Lin had to settle for a runner-up finish and Kihara was the winner of Event #17: $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw Championship.
