Stamm Seeks Exit After Doubling Soverel

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 3,500 ante

David Stamm had opened under the gun, after which Sam Soverel moved all in from the cutoff for 29,500. Stamm made the call and drew one card, with Soverel also taking one in response.

Sam Soverel: 8x7x5x3x All in
David Stamm: 7x6x4x3x

Soverel caught a 2x to make an eight, and Stamm got an 8x to also make an eight-low. Soverel's eight was lower, however, and he doubled up to get above the starting stack.

Stamm was left with about 13 big blinds, which he lost the very next hand to be eliminated.

Paur Doubles Off Kalas; Long Takes Out Wattel

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 3,500 ante

Kane Kalas raised to 5,000 in the small blind, Taylor Paur moved all in for 55,000 in the big blind, and Kalas called.

Taylor Paur: 9x8x7x4x2x All in
Kane Kalas: 8x5x3x2x

Paur stood pat with a 9-8, while Kalas drew one. He peeled his last card but quickly tossed it into the muck and handed over the double up to Paur.

At another table, Mike Wattel had shoved for 12,500 from middle position, Philip Long reshoved on the button, and the rest of the table got out of the way. "Not much," Wattel said as they each drew one.

Mike Wattel: 9x8x7x5x All in
Philip Long: 9x7x3x2x

Long drew a Kx, while Wattel caught a 6x to make a straight and was sent to the rail.

After the draw had taken place, Carlo van Ravenswoud checked under the gun to Bryce Yockey in the cutoff, who bet 20,000 into the pot of 40,000. Van Ravenswoud then moved all in, barely covering Yockey's stack of 130,000.

Yockey went deep into the tank, but slammed in a call after a few minutes. Van Ravenswoud tabled 8x5x4x3x2x for the best possible eight-low, and Yockey only briefly flashed a jack-low before he added his cards to the muck and left the tournament area.
