Farzad Bonyadi raised to 20,000 on the button and Andrew Sellergren three-bet out of the big blind to 45,000. Bonyadi called, Sellergren patted and Bonyadi drew one.
Sellergren bet 100,000, and after a bit of thought, Bonyadi thought it best to fold, which must have been correct as Sellergren tabled the wheel with 7x5x4x3x2x.
Ryutaro Suzuki and Matthew Schreiber each drew one, and Suzuki then led out for 13,000 from the small blind. Schreiber came back with a raise to 57,000 in the hijack.
Suzuki then reraised to 150,000, and Schreiber took a minute before calling. Suzuki turned over 7x6x4x3x2x, and Schreiber mucked.
Matthew Vengrin got all in for his last 50,000 or so against Frank Kassela, and they both drew one.

Kassela caught a 3x to end up with a pair of threes, and Vengrin squeezed out a Kx to earn a double as the money bubble approaches.
Chris Moneymaker raised to 15,000 in the hijack, Ryan Riess moved all in for 102,000 in the big blind, and Moneymaker called.

Riess drew one, while Moneymaker patted. Riess turned over a 5x to make a 7-6-5, and he took the pot to double up.
"Very dangerous," tablemate Ren Lin told him.
Robert Mizrachi raised to 12,000 in middle position and Joao Vieira moved all in from the small blind. Jon Shoreman called for 86,000 in the big blind, while MIzrachi got out of the way.

Shoreman patted his 9-8, while Vieira drew one. Vieira caught a Jx, and Shoreman held on to double up.
Justin Marsh raised to 12,000 in the cutoff and Matthew Valeo three-bet the button to 45,000. Marsh called and both drew one.
Marsh checked and Valeo bet 117,000. Marsh made the choice to call and Valeo revealed a 7-6 with 7x6x5x3x2x to take down the pot.
John Cynn raised to 15,000 on the button and Darren Elias moved all in for 64,000 in the small blind. Ryutaro Suzuki called in the big blind, while Cynn got out of the way.
Both players stood pat, and Suzuki turned over 10x7x6x5x4x. Elias quickly mucked, and last year's runner-up was sent to the rail.
Renan Bruschi raised to 15,000 under the gun before Naoya Kihara three-bet to 40,000 on the button. Bruschi then moved all in for 126,000, and Kihara called.

Gus Hansen shoved for 66,000 from the hijack, Ben Yu called from the big blind, and both drew one.

Yu turned over a 10x for a 10-7, which ended up as the best hand as Hansen caught a Kx, and Hansen was out.
Jason Daly raised to 15,000 in the cutoff before Carlo van Ravenswoud moved all in for 115,000 in the big blind. Daly called, and they both stood pat.
Daly turned over 9x7x5x3x2x, and Van Ravenswoud quickly mucked his hand as the start-of-day chip leader was sent to the rail.
