Tim Caziarc opened from early position, and Manish Vaswani moved all in for his remaining 300,000 on the button. Caziarc called, and the players flipped over their hands.
Manish Vaswani: A♦10♦
Tim Caziarc: A♠7♠
Vaswani locked up the double with little sweat after the dealer placed the A♣2♣8♦6♥K♣ board.
Rip Fritzer opened from middle position before Sin Chen opted to go all-in from the big blind for approximately 670,000. Fritzer snapped it off to put Chen at risk.
Sin Chen: 3♣3♥
Rip Fritzer: A♦A♣
Chen ran into the pocket aces of Fritzer, and the flop brought no relief when it came 7♥7♦4♥ to keep Fritzer ahead.
The 5♦ turn gave Chen additional outs to a straight draw, but the river did not bring any surprises as the 5♣ came down to award Fritzer the pot.
Robert Natividad made it 60,000 to play from under the gun and action folded around to David Mclaughlin in the small blind who called all in for less. Kenneth Baime sat in the big blind also made the call creating a side pot.
On the 2♦6♥8♦ flop Baime moved all in to isolate and Natividad obliged with the fold.
David Mclaughlin: 9♦7♣
Kenneth Baime: 9♥6♦
'Five please' was the request from Mclaughlin as the dealer granted him his request peeling off the 5♣ as the turn, no dramas on the A♥ river and Mclaughlin was shipped the pot for a treble up.
Donna Laduke was already all in and at risk from early position for her remaining 195,000 and was called and covered by David Shortridge in middle position.
Donna Laduke: A♠K♣
David Shortridge: A♣Q♣
Laduke was ahead with the king kicker which was enough to keep her alive on the 6♣A♦10♥8♣3♠ runout.
On the table across, Cero Zuccarello was all in for his remaining 365,000 from the cutoff and covered by Veselin Petrov on the button.
Cero Zuccarello: 10♠7♠
Veselin Petrov: K♦Q♥
There was some hope for Zuccarello after picking up a flush draw on the 5♠6♠Q♣ flop, but he missed and was eliminated after seeing the J♣ turn and 3♦ river.
William Li moved all in from the hijack, and Christopher Chatman called from the cutoff. Everyone else moved out of the way.
William Li: A♦10♥
Christopher Chatman A♣Q♦
The dealer produced J♥10♦J♦3♣5♦, and Li's two pair would earn him a second life in the tournament.
Matthew Godbey wasted no time getting his chips in the middle when he was all-in and at risk for 135,000 against Jordyn Miller.
Matthew Godbey: J♣8♦
Jordyn Miller: A♦4♣
Miller stayed ahead on the K♣Q♦Q♥ flop.
The 4♥ turn improved Miller to a pair, but the river was just what Godbey needed when the 8♠ peeled to award him the double as Miller was left with a short stack.
