"Maximum raise," announced Scott Abrams from under the gun, raising to 875,000 off his 2,075,000 stack.

It folded around to Christopher Alcindor in the small blind who called. Alcindor check-called 275,000 on the QQ5 flop and the turn was the K.

Both players checked and the river was the 6. Alcindor moved all in, covering Abrams' remaining 925,000 stack, and Abrams went deep into the tank.

"Sorry guys," he apologized, before thinking some more.

"In two minutes, I'm going to call the clock," said tablemate Thomas Koral. Eventually, Abrams called. And Alcindor winced.

Scott Abrams: A10643 All in
Christopher Alcindor: 65432

Abrams had called with just a six, for two pair, outkicking Alcindor who had also paired his six.

"No diamond was perfect," said Alcindor. "I think if you have more you fold, no?"
