On the Q♦8♦3♣ flop, Melissourgos continued for 1,000,000 and was called by both opponents.

The turn was the 4♠, and Wang opted to lead all-in for 4,350,000 into a pot of 5,550,000. Both Melissourgos and Alcindor had difficult decisions, and both eventually tank-folded, conceding the pot to Wang without showdown.

After some time, Wang called with AxJx8x5x3x for a queen-high straight, but Melissourgous held the nuts with A♠K♦Q♣J♠J♦ for a king-high straight and doubled to take the chip lead.

The 7♦ turn checked through to the A♣ which saw Alcindor lead for 1,375,000 into 1,875,000, and Koral opted to call.

Eventually, he did call. Roullier tabled J♣J♦Q♦9♠5♣ for a full house, but Alcindor had it beat with K♠10♥7♠4♦2♦ for a bigger full house.

On the A♦J♦6♣ flop, Roullier check-called a bet of 1,000,000.

The 5♠ turn checked through to the K♣ river which saw Roullier lead for a pot-sized bet of 3,775,000 with 675,000 behind. Wang went deep into the tank, taking inventory of his stack, before he flicked in a chip to call.

He got the bad news as Roullier tabled K♥K♦9♣3♠2♠ for a set of kings with the nut low. He scooped for the largest pot of the tournament thus far.

On the A♥10♣2♣ flop, Wang checked to Abrams who bet 700,000. Wang then potted, and Abrams called off his roughly 3,550,000 stack.

Abrams flopped huge with top two and the nut flush draw, which came in on the 4♣ turn. However, the river brought the 7♣, bringing in a backdoor low for Wang, who got half of the pot.

Abrams Hero Calls Alcindor for Tournament Life

"Maximum raise," announced Scott Abrams from under the gun, raising to 875,000 off his 2,075,000 stack.

It folded around to Christopher Alcindor in the small blind who called. Alcindor check-called 275,000 on the Q♥Q♦5♦ flop and the turn was the K♠.

Both players checked and the river was the 6♥. Alcindor moved all in, covering Abrams' remaining 925,000 stack, and Abrams went deep into the tank.

"Sorry guys," he apologized, before thinking some more.

"In two minutes, I'm going to call the clock," said tablemate Thomas Koral. Eventually, Abrams called. And Alcindor winced.

Abrams had called with just a six, for two pair, outkicking Alcindor who had also paired his six.

"No diamond was perfect," said Alcindor. "I think if you have more you fold, no?"
