Heads-up play was underway with around 50,000 in the pot when the flop came KK6. Dara Taherpour int he small blind bet and Randy Larson called.

Taherpour raised the 4 turn and Larson joined him again to see the river.

The river fell 6 and Taherpour raised once again. Larson considered his actions for a few seconds before mucking his hand.

Solheim's Kings Scoop the Pot

Action folded to Omar Mehmood in middle position, who opened. Michael Solheim responded with a three-bet in the big blind, and Mehmood called.

Solheim continued on the 1082 flop and faced a raise from Mehmood, which he quickly called to see the turn.

Both players checked through the Q turn.

On the 2 river, Solheim checked again before check-raising Mehmood's bet. After a short pause, Mehmood made the call.
Solheim tabled KK for an overpair, which was good enough to take down the pot as Mehmood's hand was sent into the muck.

Marciano Pays Ufano Off

Jorge Ufano raised on the button and was called by Benjamin Marciano in the small blind and Tsz Liu in the big blind.

Action checked to Ufano on the 4QQ flop and he continued for a bet. Marciano called and Liu folded.

Both players checked on the K turn and Marciano checked a final time after the 4 filled the river.

Ufano went back to betting and Marciano looked him up. Ufano showed 1010 for queens and tens and Marciano sent his hand into the muck.

Liu Rivers a Set to Win the Pot

With around 90,000 in the middle and the board fully fanned out as A6Q47, Jorge Ufano led out from the big blind. Tsz Liu, in middle position, responded with a raise.

Ufano took his time in the tank, engaging in a brief stare-down with Liu before eventually making the call.
Liu tabled 77 for a rivered set of sevens, which was strong enough to take down the pot. Ufano could only shake his head as he mucked his hand.

Queens Good for Marciano

On the 42J flop Weiss check-called Marciano's bet for the players to see the K peel off on the turn.

Both players checked down the 9 river and Marciano tabled QQ which was good for the pot when Weiss mucked his cards.

Lipner Takes From Sanampuri

Somasekhar Sanampuri raised from under the gun and called a three-bet from Michael Lipner, who was on the button.

Sanampuri check-called bets from Lipner on the 3105 flop and 7 turn, but both players checked down on the Q river.

Sanampuri turned over A5 for a pair of fives, but it was no good against Lipener's 88.

Weiss Wins with Backdoor Flush

Dennis Weiss in cutoff and Jorge Ufano on the button had already grown a pot of around 150,000 on a board of JK10J.

On the river Q, Weiss raised sending Ufano to the tank. Ufano took such a long time to consider his options, mumbling to himself, that Weiss had to call the clock on him.

On the final ten seconds, Ufano called and mucked his hand after seeing Weiss' 86 for a backdoor flush.

Ufano, somehow shocked by the results, shook his head as the dealer pushed the pot to Weiss. Ufano finally said, "Nice Hand," prompting Weiss to reply with a smile, "You don't really mean that."

Bellantoni Flops a Set for a Double

Michael Bellantoni opened from middle position and was met with a button raise from Somasekhar Sanampuri, which he called.

Bellantoni continued on the KA9 flop, and Sanampuri made the call.

The same action followed on the 10 turn, with Bellantoni betting and getting called once more.

Before the 5 river was even dealt, Bellantoni moved the rest of his stack into the middle and put himself at risk. Sanampuri called, and the hand went to showdown.

Bellantoni tabled 99 for a flopped set of nines, while Sanampuri showed QQ for an overpair. The queens were no good, and Bellantoni secured the pot to stay alive and double up.
