Jean-Robert Bellande raised from early position to 100,000, and Joseph Tien defended from the big blind. The flop arrived with Q♦3♦6♥, Tien checked, and Bellande bet 200,000. Tien pondered and moved all in for 1,170,000, and Belande called immediately.
Joseph Tien: 9♦6♦
Jean-Robert Bellande: K♦J♦
Tien was slightly ahead with a pair of sixes, but the turn J♠ changed that, and Bellande moved into the lead. The river Q♥ sealed Tien's fate as Bellande won with the better two pair.
Antonio Vargas raised to 100,000 in the cutoff and Jean-Robert Bellande defended in the big blind.
The flop came 5♠J♦4♦ and Bellande check-called a bet of 125,000 from Vargas, bringing the A♥ turn.
Bellande checked again and Vargas fired out a bet of 430,000, prompting Bellande to take some time to think through his decision.
"We'll clash later buddy, save it for the final table," said Bellande as he flashed the J♠ before mucking his hand.
Antonio Vargas raised to 100,000 from under the gun, and Huabao Chen called from the big blind. The flop arrived with 5♠J♠K♠, and Chen checked, and Vargas bet 65,000. Chen moved all in for his last 725,000, and Vargas called immediately.
Huabao Chen: K♦Q♦
Antonio Vargas: A♥K♣
The turn A♠, and the river 3♥ brought Vargas the top two pair for the score.
Ran Ilani raised to 100,000 in middle position and Darren Rabinowitz defended in the big blind.
The flop came 3♥3♣8♥ and Rabinowitz check-called a bet of 60,000 from Ilani, bringing the 6♦ turn, where both players checked.
On the 7♠ river, Rabinowitz led out for 100,000 and Ilani flicked in the call. Rabinowitz tabled 8♠6♥ for two pair, eights and sixes, and Ilani mucked.
There were roughly 500,000 chips in the pot on A♦8♣10♣3♣.
Omar Zazay, who was in early position, bet 240,000, and Kevin Naegelen in the small blind raised to 550,00. Zazay thought about his decision for a few moments before putting Naegelen all in for 1,265,000. Naegelen snap-called.
Kevin Naegelen: K♣Q♣
Omar Zazay: 6♣5♣
Zazay was already drawing dead on the turn, and the 9♥ completed the board.
Action picked up on the river with a sizable pot brewing between Huabao Chen in middle position and Jean-Robert Bellande on the button.
With the board reading 9♣4♥2♥7♣5♣, Chen slid out a bet of 680,000, prompting Bellande to go into the tank.
"I apologize for the slowroll, I just don't know if I should call or go all in," said Bellande before ultimately deciding on the call.
Bellande tabled K♣Q♣ for the flush, besting the A♥9♥ of Chen.
