Great start for Bode as he flopped top pair when the board came A♠K♥2♦, and it was an easy hold as the board ran out 5♠ on the turn and the 3♦ on the river.
Action folded around to Guofeng Wang in the small blind, who completed, and Matthew Bode raised to 200,000 in the big blind. Wang made the call and the flop came 8♠K♠6♣.
Wang check-raised all in for 1,530,000 after Bode bet 330,000, and Bode quickly called with the covering stack.

The 5♥ turn was safe for Bode but Wang still had plenty of outs to stay alive. The river fell the Q♠, giving Wang the flush, and the pot was pushed his way.
Jim Collopy raised to 160,000 from early position before Omar Zazay announced all in for 2,115,000 from the cutoff. Antonio Vargas, who was covered by Zazay, also moved all in. Action folded back around to Collopy, who folded.

However, Zazay with just top pair held as the board ran out 10♦ on the turn and the 2♣ on the river to eliminate Vargas in 17th place.
Kevin Naegelen raised to 160,000 in early position and Darren Rabinowitz three-bet to 300,000 in the hijack, leaving himself with about 40,000 behind. Naegelen then four-bet jammed and Rabinowitz went into the tank looking for a possible pay jump before eventually making the call.
