Vengrin Doubles Through Vieira

Joao Vieira opened to 55,000 in the hijack, Matt Vengrin potted to 190,000 in the small blind, and Vieira called.

On the KJ2 flop, the rest of Vengrin's 340,000 got into the middle, at risk against Vieira.

Vieira had middle pair and a flush draw against the aces of Vengrin. However, the board ran out 82 and Vengrin held on to double and scoop, leaving Vieira short.

Mercier Gets his Double After All

Jason Mercier limped under the gun, Nino Pansier potted to 110,000 in the hijack, and Mercier called.

On the KJ6 flop, Mercier got the rest of his 540,000 stack into the middle, at risk against Panier.

Mercier flopped top set against Pansier's aces, and he improved to a flush on the 9A runout, securing the double.

Amin Finds Half on the River

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Rishi Amin opened to 75,000 under the gun and was called by Jason Mercier on his left and Nick Guagenti in the big blind.

On the J22 flop, Amin bet 80,000 and only Mercier called.

The turn was the 5 a Amin bet the pot of 420,000, Mercier jammed for 440,000, and Amin called.

Amin had the nut flush but it was no good against the flopped full house of Mercier. However, the river was the 3, and Amin was able to play ace-six for low, giving him half the pot.

Rodenborn Can't Beat Guagenti's Kicker

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Matthew Beinner in the cutoff, Nick Guagenti on the button, and Rishi Amin in the small blind all called while Todd Rodenborn in the big blind checked his option.

The flop rolled out 665 and Amin checked to Rodenborn who bet 125,000 to see Beinner call. Guagenti raised to 600,000 and Rodenborn called for 185,000 total while Beinner tossed his hand away.

No help came to Rodenborn on the runout of 8Q and Guagenti's three sixes with an ace and eight-six low was good to scoop up the pot.

Liberto Over Two Million

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Shota Nakanishi raised to 75,000 from under the gun to see Ofir Mor in early position, Martin Zamani in the small blind, and Justin Liberto in the big blind call.

Zamani checked the flop of 1097 and Liberto bet 100,000 to see only Nakanishi call.

On the turn 9, Liberto bet 140,000 and Nakanish called a second time.

Liberto bet 685,000 on the river 4 and Nakanishi tossed away his hand after some thought.

Mor was left with under 150,000 after this hand and a few hands later he was eliminated.

Another One for Liberto to Double

Justin Liberto opened to 55,000 under the gun before Martin Zamani potted to 175,000 in the big blind, and Liberto called.

On the Q76 flop, Zamani announced pot for 385,000, Liberto jammed for 660,000, and Zamani called.

Liberto had flopped the nut low draw, along with middle pair and a flush draw, while Zamani had the second nut low draw with a gutter.

The board ran out A9, leaving Liberto best with aces-up and four-deuce for the low as he scooped.

Huang Falls First To Liberto

Chiuang Huang raised to 75,000 in the cutoff and Justin Liberto potted on the button. Action folded back around to Huang who moved all in for 320,000 total to see Liberto call.

The latest of the Championship Events, Event #33: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, of the 2026 WSOP sees its third day of play kick off at 1 p.m. at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. A total of 390 entrants occupied the seats in Paris for a couple of days to generate a total prize pool of $3,627,000. Today, just 25 remain with their eyes fixed upon the WSOP gold bracelet and the $767,395 yet to be awarded to first place.

Play will resume at 1 pm today at Level 21, with blinds at 10,000/25,000 and a 25,000 big blind ante. Levels will last one hour each with a 15-minute break at the conclusion of each level. A sixty-minute dinner break will occur at the conclusion of Level 26, and play is scheduled to continue until just five players remain.
