The final Day 2 flight (Day 2d) of Event #34: $500 The COLOSSUS No-Limit Hold'em gets underway at 11 a.m. local time today. There will be 1,168 players returning from Day 1d to play another 12 levels of no-limit hold'em.

Late registration is closed, and the WSOP LIVE app shows 16,269 entries for a prize pool of $6,751,635.

Eric Hardwick leads the Day 2d field with 1,187,000 in chips. He is followed in the standings by Krishna Madhariwar (1,152,000) and Pedro Olaio (1,000,000).

Among the more recognizable names in the Day 2d field are Ryan Leng (658,000), Malcolm Trayner (538,000), Robert Nehorayan (466,000), Scott Ball (400,000), David Wintersberger (372,000), and Shawn Buchanan (146,000).

When Day 2 begins, the blinds will be at Level 16, 4,000/8,000 with an 8,000 big blind ante. Day 3 begins on Monday, June 15, with all the Day 2 survivors from all four flights. Day 3 is also when PokerNews live coverage of the event begins.
