Yi "Kitkat" Klassen was already all in from middle position as Eli Elezra and Moshe Gavrieli went to a flop of 4♥2♦8♠. Elezra then bet from the small blind, and Gavrieli called in the big blind.

Elezra bet again on the 8♦ turn, and Gavrieli folded this time. "Three eights," he said to Gavrieli as he turned over 8♥7♣.

Klassen was already drawing dead with A♥J♣, and the J♥ river wasn't enough to save her from becoming the first elimination of the day.

Chen check-called a final bet from Twomley when he saw the 6♠ river, and Twomley turned over A♠J♦ for a straight. Chen couldn't beat it, and Twomley pulled in the pot.
