Casella Sails a Boat to Six Figures

Heads up in a blind-versus-blind battle, Michael Casella led out with a bet on the 942 flop and Charles Thomas raised. Casella called.

Thomas bet on the 8 turn, and Casella again called. Casella checked to Thomas on the 4 river, and this time Thomas checked back.

He was glad he did, for Casella turned over 22 for a full house as he took the pot to move up to 100,000.

Lieberman Shows a Card

Anthony Zinno raised from the cutoff with David Lieberman calling in the small blind and Christopher Vitch coming along from the big blind.

When it got to Zinno on the 566 flop, he bet, and both Lieberman and Vitch called.

Lieberman led out on the Q turn, forcing folds from Vitch and Zinno.

Lieberman showed top pair with Q as he was sent the pot.

Lieberman Fills Up in Three-Way Pot

Nick Pupillo raised under the gun and Ryuta Nakai three-bet in middle position. Brian Lieberman called in the big blind, as did Pupillo.

Nakai continued with a bet on the 945 flop, and both opponents called. Lieberman then bet on the 9 turn, Pupillo called, while Nakai got out of the way.

Lieberman bet again on the A river, and Pupillo called. Lieberman then showed 44 for a full house, and Pupillo mucked.

Miki's Sailboats Are Good at Showdown

Yosuke Miki raised the hijack and Matt Glantz three-bet the button. David Mangnuson cold-called in the big blind and Miki also called.

All three were happy to check down a runout of 510K76. Mangnuson turned over jack-high with J9 before Miki revealed 44 for a pair of fours. Glantz mucked, and Miki was awarded the pot.

Casella Has the Better Diamond in Four-Way Pot

Four players built a pot of nearly 20,000 as they went to the 9102 flop. All four players checked to the 3 turn, where Karim Phillips bet from the big blind. Juha Helppi folded in the hijack, while Michael Casella called in the cutoff and Chad Eveslage came along from the small blind.

The 4 river was checked down, and Eveslage showed 55 for a flush. Casella, though, had 77 for a higher flush, and Phillips flashed 99 for a beaten set as the big pot was pushed over to Casella.

With around 8,000 in the pot on a flop of Q62, Joe McKeehen led out with a bet from the small blind and Matthew Zambanini called under the gun.

McKeehen bet again on the 10 turn, and Zambanini again called. McKeehen slowed down and checked the K river, and Zambanini put out a bet. McKeehen shook his head as he tossed his cards into the muck.

In a three-bet pot, David Magnuson led out from the big blind on the 4107 flop, and Kevin Song called from the cutoff.

The 9 turn got another bet from Magnuson and another call from Song.

A final bet came from Magnuson on the 5 river, which was enough to get Song to fold.
