Welcome back to PokerNews for continued coverage of the 2026 World Series of Poker at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

The series continues on today with the latest championship event in Event #42: $10,000 Big O Championship. This is a newer event, which plays as Five Card Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo, that made its debut in 2024 as John Fauver won the inaugural title and $681,998.

Today's action kicks off at 2 p.m. local time and will play for ten levels with 15-minute breaks every two levels. Players will begin with starting stacks of 60,000 and blinds of 100/200.

Levels will be 60 minutes long throughout the four-day event, which will play to a winner on June 16 at a to-be-determined time.

Late registration will remain open for 12 levels until around 3:15 p.m. on Day 2. Players are up to two re-entries in the eight-handed event.

Last year's event drew 402 runners for a prize pool of $3,738,600 and saw Veerachai Vongxaiburana besting four-time bracelet winner Phil Hui to win his first bracelet and $784,353.
