Bai Walks Through Hansen's Favorite Door
Level 20
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Gus Hansen and Richard Bai went to a flop of 5♦K♥9♣ where Hansen bet 85,000 from the big blind. Bai called under the gun.
The turn was the 7♣ and Hansen moved all in for 150,000. "He didn't snap, so that's good," Hansen said.
"There are three doors. One, he calls and I win. I really like that one. Two, he folds. Three, he calls and I lose. I don't like that one," Hansen added.
"There's a fourth door, a chop," Maximilian Schindler replied.
"You're right. There's a fourth door. I'm not a Big O player," Hansen said.
Bai ended up calling and turned over A♦K♦10♣2♠2♦, while Hansen had A♥K♣10♦6♥5♥ for two pair. The river was the Q♣ and Hansen held on to double up.
"He chose the first door. That was my favorite one," Hansen added after the hand.
