Deutsch Makes Emergency Straight

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Both having put in 10,500 on the 72J flop, Cary Katz checked the Q turn from under the gun to Stephen Deutsch in the cutoff. Deutsch fired a bet of 30,000, which Katz called.

The 10 river was then quickly checked to showdown. Katz announced two pair, prompting Deutsch to table AAK94 for Broadway.

Sklar's Two Pair is Good at Showdown

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Matt Glantz raised to 3,000 from the cutoff and Richard Sklar defended his big blind.

Sklar and Glantz checked the 10Q7 flop to see the 4 on the turn. Sklar bet 10,000, which Glantz called.

Both checked the 9 river and Sklar's AQ422 for two pair took down the pot.

Benyamine Leads Into Smith

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Dylan Smith raised his button to 5,500, which David Benyamine called in the big blind. Benyamine check-called a bet of 4,000 on the 34J flop, and did the same when Smith sized up to 7,000 on the 7 turn.

The A river prompted Benyamine to lead out for 12,000. Smith took a final look at his cards before he laid them down, surrendering the pot.

Deitell Sends Monnette to the Rail

Jakob Deitell called from the hijack, and Dylan Lambe called in the cutoff. John Monnette raised to around 7,500 from the small blind, which Deitell and Lambe both called.

All three players checked the KJ5 flop to see the 7 land on the turn. Monnette bet 25,000, and Deitell raised to 50,000. Lambe got out of the way, but Monnette called for his remaining 20,000 or so.

Deitell had flopped a set of jacks, and after the river bricked out for Monnette, all of his chips were sent over to Deitell.

Klein Gets Shove Through

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Small blind Loren Klein bet the pot of 41,400 on the Q628 turn. Matthew Schreiber called in middle position, after which the 4 river completed the board.

Klein moved all in for 98,100, but Schreiber did not want to pay and mucked his cards.

Nick Schulman raised to 4,200 in middle position, and Terrance Reid called in the big blind. Reid then check-called Schulman's bet of 10,200 on the Q38 flop before Schulman shoved all in for 25,600 on the 6 turn.

Reid check-called with the covering stack, revealing the cards.

Ruben Shoves Into Katz

Cary Katz raised to 3,000 from the button and Brad Ruben called from the big blind.

Ruben check-called Katz's continuation-bet of 3,000 on the 2Q6 flop.

The 5 came on the turn and Ruben jammed for 9,000. Katz stared back at his cards for quite a while before eventually tossing them into the muck.
