Time Runs Out for Olson

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

With 1,000,000 in the pot and a board of 4727A, Steven Olson bet 500,000 from late position and Larry Quang raised to 1,500,000, sending Olson to the tank.

Olson looked like he was calculating and reviewing the action as the rest of the table waited. After much time, Ricardo Padilla, who was also at the table, called clock.

Annoyed, Olson asked him, "Are you in the hand?" Padilla just shrugged as Olson explained to him how big the pot was and how difficult the decision he had to make.

The floor started the countdown and his hand was mucked after he ran out of time.

Vogt Drags The Blinds Along

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Stefan Vogt raised from the cutoff to 125,000, James Traber called from the small blind, and Ronald Moore called from the big blind. The flop came out with 25K, and both of the blinds checked to the preflop raiser. Vogt bet 100,000, and both players came along for the turn.

Everyone checked the turn Q.

On the river 9, both blinds checked again, and Vogt bet 200,000. Traber called quickly, and Moore folded quickly. Traber showed K10 for a pair of kings, and Vogt showed AK for a pair of kings with an ace kicker and the scoop.

Agaev Takes Huge Pot

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Adam Agaev raised to 120,000 from middle position. Christopher Podlewski three-bet to 300,000 in the cutoff.

When the action folded back to Agaev, he casually smooth-called.

The flop hit KQ7. Agaev lead with a bet and Podlewski moved all in. Agaev quickly called with less, a whopping 1,970,000 chips.

Adam Agaev: KKAll in
Christopher Podlewski: 86

Podlewski had flopped a flush. Agaev had hit a set of kings.

The would prove to be disastrous for Podlewski, as the Q came off the deck, pairing the board and giving Agaev a fullhouse. The hand was over before the 2 landed on the river.

"Whew!" Agaev shouted when the queen turned. "I was cursing myself for not (re-)raising preflop."

Moyer's Queens Fall to Kamaras' Fives

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Michael Nye opened to 150,000 in early position. Jeffrey Moyer on the button called. Peter Kamaras in the big blind had other plans and shoved all-in for 925,000. Nye got out of the way prompting Moyer, covered, to call.

Jeffrey Moyer: QQ All in
Peter Kamaras: 55

Moyer was visibly happy with what he saw, but the flop 9A5 came and dashed his hopes. Kamaras took the lead with a set. The dealer peeled K turn and with no help on the J river, Moyer left the table to head to the payout counter.

Wolf On Prowl Captures Sirry's Chips & Some Of Laduca's Chips

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Over the course of two hands, Manfred Wolf was chipping up his stack.

In the first hand, Wolf raised to 120,000 from the button, and Ronald Laduca called from the big blind. The flop came out with JQK, Laduca checked to the preflop raiser, and Wolf bet 60,000. Laduca called.

On the turn 8, Laduca checked again, and Wolf bet again for 130,000. Laduca stayed for the river.

On the river 9 Laduca took the lead and bet 250,000. Wolf applied the maximum pressure and moved all in for 415,000 effective. Laduca struggled to fold, but in the end, he did, and Wolf showed A10 for the straight.

In the second hand; Wolf raised again from the cutoff to 110,000, and Nedim Sirry defended his big blind. The flop came out with Q75 and Sirry checked, while Wolf bet 85,000. Sirry raised to 160,000, and Wolf again applied maximum pressure, moving all in for 850,000 effective. Sirry called.

Sirry immediately queried, "Do you have a set?"

Nedim Sirry: 75 All in
Manfred Wolf: QQ

Sirry had flopped two pair but was drawing thin to try to beat Wolf's set of queens.

The turn 4 and the river 8 did not change the outcome, and Wolf was stacking a massive stack while Sirry moved to the pay desk.
