Five players saw the turn on a board of 5♥6♣10♦J♦. Jesse Lonis checked from the small blind, Ze Yu Li checked from the big blind, and Jose Scarano bet 8,000 from under the gun.

Chongxian Yang folded from the next seat, while Dan Cates called in the hijack. Lonis and Li both got out of the way, making the action heads up to the river.

The 8♦ completed the board and, after giving it some thought, Scarano checked. Cates didn't take long to bet 18,000.

Scarano then chose a more aggressive option, check-raising to 65,000. Cates quickly folded, surrendering the pot to Scarano.
