"You Look Like a Professional, But Your Bet is Terrible."
Brevin Andreadis raised to 11,000 with Anatoly Zlotnikov calling on the button, Joshua Ladines calling from the small blind, and Gabriel Andrade coming along from the big blind.
After two checks on the A♠8♦Q♣ flop, Andreadis bet 12,000 into his three opponents. Zlotnikov called before Ladines check-raised to 40,000. Andrade and Andreadis folded, and Zlotnikov shoved, covering Ladines. Ladines called for his remaining 150,000 or so, and the cards were tabled.
Joshua Ladines: J♠10♣8♠8♣
Anatoly Zlotnikov: Q♦Q♠2♦2♥
It was a brutal set-over-set cooler, with Ladines finding himself on the wrong end of it. He wasn't drawing dead, though, as a straight remained a possibility with two cards to come.
The 7♠ turn gave Ladines even more hope by adding a flush draw to his outs. When the 7♥ landed on the river, he improved to a full house. However, Zlotnikov's full house was bigger, and the large pot was pushed his way.
As he dragged in the chips, Zlotnikov jokingly looked over to Andreadis and said, "You look like a professional, but your bet is terrible."
