Action picked up on the flop of 6♦8♣4♣ in a hand between the under-the-gun Gytis Lazauninkas who was already all in and at risk, Srivinay Irrinki in late position, and Sebastian Schulze in the big blind.
Schulze and Irrinki both checked, bringing the J♠ turn, where Schulze check-called a bet of 210,000 from Irrinki.
The river fell theQ♠ and Schulze check-folded when Irrinki bet 330,000. Irrinki tabled Q♥9♥ and scooped the side pot, but the main pot was awarded to Lazauninkas, who turned over 7♣5♥ for the straight.
After taking an early fall in the first few hands of the day, John Ypma opened to 280,00 on the button, leaving himself just 60,000 behind. Michael Letal was in the big blind and asked for a count before jamming. The player were on a pay jump and Ypma waited a short while before calling off his remaining stack.

Ypma was ahead, and things stayed that way on the 9♥2♣A♣ flop. There was no real sweat on the 6♥ turn or K♦ river and Ypma put himself back in the game, putting Letal down to under ten big blind.
John Ypma opened to 120,000 from under the gun and Marco Johnson called from the hijack. Pyeongkang Kim defended the big blind and the players went three-ways to the 4♥J♦K♥ flop.
Ypma bet 140,000 and Johnson quickly mucked. It took a while for Kim to raise to 300,000 and Ypma tank called.
A K♦ was turned and Kim bet 275,000. Ypma tank-called to see the 2♠ river. Kim snap jammed, and this time it was an easy fold for Ypma as he swiftly pushed his cards into the muck.
Brandon Sheils raised to 120,000 in the cutoff and Kenzo Ishida three-bet jammed in the big blind to put Sheils at risk. Sheils had about 600,000 behind and made the call.

The flop came 3♦10♥4♥ with Sheils still in the lead with his pair of jacks. That was until the K♠ fell on the turn, improving Ishida to two pair, kings and tens. The 2♠ completed the board and Sheils was sent to the rail.
Just 28 players remain in the hunt for the Event #49: $2,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em bracelet here on Day 3 at the Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas. Each player who locked up a bag last night is guaranteed at least $15,300 but all chasing the $513,885 top prize.
Leading the charge is Faraz Jaka, who bagged an impressive 4,400,000 after a late night surge that included eliminating Aditya Agarwal in one of the final hands of the evening. Jaka spent much of Day 2 applying relentless pressure, recovering quickly from setbacks and finishing the night as the clear frontrunner.

Right behind Jaka is Kenzo Ishida, who closed out the day with 4,200,000 after steadily climbing the counts throughout the evening. Rounding out the top three is Srivinay Irrinki, whose late day knockout of Ran Yi helped propel him to a strong finish. Also returning near the top of the leaderboard is James MacMillan, who was seen scooping pot after pot in the final levels, and Sebastian Schulze, who kept up a good fight late into the night.
The Day 3 field also features a strong contingent of $25K Fantasy picks who went the distance in Day 2, and will be looking to convert their stacks into major points. Marco Johnson leads the fantasy group with 3,215,000, while Joey Weissman (2,480,000) and Shawn Buchanan (1,500,000) are also well positioned for deep runs. Further down the counts, Chino Rheem (975,000), Brandon Sheils (710,000), and Phillip Hui (490,000) will return with shorter stacks.
