The remaining 14 players are taking their final break of the day. The action is scheduled to resume in 15 minutes.
Gianluca Cedolia limped on the button, and Ravi Shankar in the small blind followed suit. Bouwe Claushuis in the big blind defended with a 200,000 raise, and both players called to see the flop.
The flop came 7♠K♠J♥. After the blinds checked, Cedolia fired 355,000. Both blinds checked again.
After action was once again passed to him, Cedolia shoved all-in for 530,000. Shankar got out of the way but Claushuis tanked into the break, taking his time to consider his options. He picked out the chips for a call then said, "This is going to be sick."
He finally threw it in taking them to showdown.
Gianluca Cedolia: A♠J♠J♦4♠2♦
Bouwe Claushuis : A♣K♥10♥10♠2♠
Both players caught a flush but Cedolia had the nut flush. The dealer completed the board with a Q♦ river then pushed the pot to Cedolia for a double up.
Alan Mehamed raised to 135,000 from the hijack before Miguel Ore Avila called on the button. Sebestyen Balint and Garth Paul called from the blinds to create a four-handed pot.
The J♣A♥6♣ flop was checked to Mehamed, who bet 250,000. Ore called before Balint re-raised to 1,600,000. Paul and Mehamed folded, but Ore put himself all-in for 1,315,000 to be at risk.
Miguel Ore Avila: A♠J♠10♣10♦7♥
Sebestyen Balint: A♣K♥9♣7♠2♠
Ore held top two pair, and was ahead when the chips went in.
The 6♦ turn, and the Q♥ river did not dethrone Avila as he earned the double up.
The action was joined with 825,000 already in the pot, and a board was dealt to a 5♥8♥4♥10♣ turn.
Miltiadis Kyriakides checked in the big blind, and Ravi Shankar put out a pot-sized bet of 825,000.
Kyriakides gave it some thought, but ultimately chose to fold.
Sebestyen Balint raised to 150,000 from middle position, which met resistance in the form of an Erick Mossinger three-bet to 475,000 from the small blind. Balint confirmed the bet size and then called.
Mossinger slowed down on the K♠9♦7♠ flop, checking over to Balint, who responded by sliding a tower of chips into the middle. The bet was more than enough to cover the remaining 550,000 in Mossinger's stack, and, after some thought, Mossinger folded.
Zachary Gruneberg opened to 150,000 under the gun and Bouwe Claushuis in the small blind called.
The dealer fanned out J♣6♥7♦. Both players checked leading them to the turn.
The 8♦ turn fell and Claushuis led out with 275,000. Gruneberg hung on to see the last card.
Both players checked the 6♠ river.
Claushuis said he had aces and Gruneberg replied that he had a straight then tabled K♥K♣9♣8♥5♣ prompting the small blind to muck his hand.
Miguel Ore Avila opened to 125,000 from the cutoff before Kamel Mokhammad made it 400,000 out of the big blind. Avila made the call.
The flop came Q♥5♠A♣ before Mokhammad continued for 315,000. Avila gave it a brief consideration before he made the fold.
Ravi Shankar limped in and Zachary Gruneberg raised to 175,000 in the cutoff, which Hokyiu Lee on the button, Gainluca Cedolia in the big blind and Shankar called. They all checked the K♥6♠2♠ flop to the 6♥ turn. Once checked to, Gruneberg bet 275,000 and Shankar was the only caller.
They checked the 9♣ on the river and Shankar announced a king. Gruneberg had the superior kicker with the A♥K♦7♥4♥4♣ and won the pot.
PJ Cha opened to 175,000 from the cutoff leaving 185,000 behind. Erick Mossinger called on the button, and Sebestyen Balint joined the fray from the big blind.
Balint checked the 3♦Q♠8♣ flop before Cha went all-in for 185,000. Mossinger folded, but Balint made the call to put Cha at risk.
PJ Cha: K♠Q♥Q♣10♥10♦
Sebestyen Balint: K♦9♠6♦5♥3♥
Cha held top set and was in a prime position to double up against Balint.
The 9♦ turn did not change much, and the J♥ river sealed it in favor of Cha.
