2022 Champion of this event Yeh completed, Matusow was forced all-in from the ante, and everyone else folded.
Matusow woke up with aces blind, but Yeh had improved to kings-up on sixth. As Matusow peeled his last card, Daniel Negreanu at an adjacent table came over with his vlogging equipment to see if Matusow could find another pair. However, he was unable to do so, flipping over the 3♠ as he got up from his seat.
"I'm gonna kill somebody!" Matusow screamed as around half the Paris Ballroom turned their heads in confusion.
"Is that not what he [Phil Hellmuth] said?" Matusow continued, "Something about burning the place down," in reference to Hellmuth's infamous rant at a Stud final table a few years back.
Negreanu spent the next 60 seconds helping Matusow untangle his backpack from his collection of chairs, and Matusow took his leave from the tournament area in silence.
