Ayow a Non Believer, Now a Non Participant

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Richard Ali
Richard Ali

Kevin Ayow raised to 125,000 from early position, and both Richard Ali and Holly Foley called from the cutoff and big blind.

Foley didn't hang around to see what her opponent wanted to do on the QJQ flop, leading out for 300,000. Both Ayow and Ali called.

Foley slowed down on the 2 turn, as both she and Ayow checked. Ali then decided to move all in for 1,300,000, which received a quick fold from Foley, but Ayow decided to put his remaining 450,000 into the middle.

Kevin Ayow: AJ All in
Richard Ali: Q10

"I didn't think you'd jam a queen," Ayow, who was drawing dead, said to Ali.

The K completed the board, and Ayow was the latest to hit the rail.

King-High Takes It

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Marc Monllao raised to 120,000 in the hijack, and only Holly Buie called defending her big blind.

The dealer provided a 455 flop, which saw Buie check-call a bet of 75,000.

Both the Q turn and the 3 river then checked through.

Buie tabled 86 for eight-high, and Monllao flipped over K10 to lay claim to the pot.

Why This Seven-Time WSOP Champ Who Crushes Top Pros Flies Under the Radar

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Calvin Anderson
Calvin Anderson

There are only two players who've won five World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets since 2023 — Nick Schulman and Calvin Anderson.

The former is a Poker Hall of Famer who, deservedly so, receives plenty of poker media and social media attention. The latter has kept a low profile and mostly stays off the radar despite crushing some of the toughest fields. But that doesn't seem to bug Anderson, who is competing in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship.

"It doesn't bother me," Anderson told PokerNews on Monday. "A lot of the players have been around a lot longer than me. If I was 10 years old, I think I'd be up there with a lot of the guys."

Le Busts

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Action folded around to John Capitano who was in the small blind and he put Duy Le all in from the big blind for roughly 450,000, and Le called.

Duy Le: A4 All in
John Capitano: A10

Le got off to a great start as the flop came 42J, giving him the lead with a pair of fours. However, the 10 on the turn gave Capitano a larger pair. The 2 river changed nothing, and Le was unable to improve, bringing his tournament run to an end.

Larson Gets a Double from Amingad

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Action folded to Richard Larson in middle position who moved all in for 380,000. It got folded around to Santhosh Amingad on the button who squeezed his cards, thought for a while, and then raised to 1,000,000 which covered the blinds who folded quicker than a cheetah on caffeine.

Richard Larson: 66 All in
Santhosh Amingad: A4

A bit of a sweat for Larson on the 104J flop but nothing changed on the 7 turn and when the river bricked out with the 2 Larson was shipped the pot for a double up.

No Joy for Gierach

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Ethan Gierach moved all in for around 500,000 from early position, and was at risk when Marc Monllao called in the big blind.

Ethan Gierach: Q10 All in
Marc Monllao: A9

The A24 flop saw Monllao improve to top pair, while Gierach picked up a flush draw.

It wasn't to be for Gierach, though, as the 6 turn and 8 river completed the board, sending him to the payout desk.

In With the Worst, Out With the Best

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Action folded to Phung Ngo on the button, who raised to 120,000. Wesley Chen then moved all in from the big blind, and Ngo quickly called, putting his 1,420,000 at risk.

Phung Ngo: KK All in
Wesley Chen: AQ

The window card was exactly what Ngo was hoping not to see, as the dealer laid out a A67 flop.

Neither the 3 turn nor the 9 river could offer a reprieve, seeing Ngo's kings go up in flames, ending his deep run.
