Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Esther Taylor: XxXx / 1032Q / Xx
Phil Hui: KKK / Q8AJ
Philip Sternheimer: A4 / 83510 / 5

Esther Taylor was already awaiting her fate when she was all-in against Phil Hui and Philip Sternheimer. The former then bet and Sternheimer called with a low while Hui showed a set of kings in the hole. Taylor briefly flashed the cards before tossing them into the muck but even table neighbour Calvin Anderson couldn't see them as per the discussion between the trio after the hand was over.

Katz Takes One Down; Another Taylor Double

Level 7

No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Single Draw

David "ODB" Baker opened to 8,000 from under the gun, and was called by Roy Thung from the small blind before Aaron Katz made it 39,000 from the big blind. Baker thought about it briefly, before folding. Thung followed suit in returning his cards to dealer.

Katz showed 7x6x4x2x with Baker telling him he folded 6x5x4x3x2x.

On another table, Esther Taylor survived another all-in, doubling to around 70,000 after she showed a better low Philip Sternheimer.

Right after that, Marco Johnson was moved to a new table as Maksim Pisarenko had entered and drawn his seat.Pisarenko inherited the small banana card protector for some additional value.

"Bathroom Fish" Misses His Button

Level 7
Josh Arieh
Josh Arieh

Pot-Limit Omaha

Just before the cards were dealt, small blind Josh Arieh stood up and sprinted to the restroom.

"Leaving in the small blind is crazy. You risk missing your button. This guy's a bathroom fish," Chris Brewer then stated before he raised his button to 10,500.

David Williams called in the big blind, but he quickly check-folded when Brewer continued for 6,500.

Arieh was not back in time for the next hand, meaning Brad Owen was effectively on the button when open-raised to 9,000 in the cutoff. Aaron Kupin called in the big blind and check-called Owen's bet of 12,000 on the K32 flop.

The A turn was then checked through to the 4 river. Kupin checked a third time, but Owen put in a bet of 35,000. Kupin spent about a minute in the tank before mucking his cards to concede the pot.

Action was picked up on the flop with the board showing Q49.

Christopher Vitch and Dylan Weisman checked to Daniel Negreanu under the gun, and he bet out 5,000. Vitch called, and Weisman folded.

After the 10 on the turn, Vitch checked to Negreanu, who again bet, this time for 17,000. Vitch wasted little time and mucked to give the pot to Negreanu.
