Maksim Pisarenko checked fourth street to Chris Brewer, who bet. Chris Hunichen then called before Pisarenko made it two bets. Brewer and Hunichen both called, seeing Hunichen bet again on fifth street.

Brewer knew enough and folded, but Hunichen stuck around and called. He called another bet on sixth street, and eventually called to showdown when Pisarenko casually tossed in more chips on seventh street.

Pisarenko tabled trips and a low. Hunichen did not beat either end of the hand and surrendered his cards to the dealer in defeat.

Both players drew one, and Wells checked to Volpe. He bet, and Wells called and drew one. Volpe stood pat and bet again, and Wells folded.

The next hand at this table, Nick Guagenti and Roy Thung both drew one and Guagenti bet from the hijack. Thung called in the cutoff.

Guagenti stood pat, and Thung drew one. Guagenti bet again, but this time Thung raised. Guagenti called and stood pat, while Thung drew one.

Guagenti then bet, and Thung folded. "You passed the test," Thung told him.

Mercier then check-raised Tong on the A87 flop. Tong called, seeing Mercier check again on the 9 turn. Tong bet, and this time Mercier just called.

Another check, bet, and call followed on the 2 river. Tong tabled AK32 for top pair and an eight-low. Mercier had the same low with AQ73, but his two pair earned him the high half of the pot as well.

Arieh tabled his AK105 for tens full of fives, while Lonis' A432 for the wheel won the low pot.

"That's the shit that beats me?" Lonis inquired in table chat. He later mentioned he thought he had ace-deuce-trey-six and was thinking about reraising on the river.

Guagenti called to the second draw, where he took one card. Wells still wanted no new cards. Guagenti then led out with a bet, putting Wells all in for 75,000. Wells gave it some thought before he called.

On the final draw, Guagenti stood pat. Wells weighed his options, but elected to remain pat behind. Guagenti showed 9x8x5x3x2x, causing Wells to breathe a sigh of relief and table 8x7x6x5x3x for the winning hand.
