Lambert Falls to Wilcox's Big Slick

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Gary Lambert, with around 150,000 in his stack, moved them all across the line from early position. Jeffrey Wilcox called on the button to put him at risk, and after the blinds folded, the players went to showdown.

Gary Lambert: 22 All in
Jeffrey Wilcox: AK

Lambert's deuces fell behind on the 1010A flop as Wilcox improved to top pair.

The 10 turn meant Lambert was drawing to an unlikely chop, which didn't come as the Q completed the board.

Lambert wished his tablemates good luck as all of his chips were sent across the table to Wilcox.

Nan Min
Nan Min

Thomas Spaid raised to 45,000 from middle position, and only Nan Min called from the cutoff.

Spaid opted to knuckle it over to Min on the 329 flop, and Min decided to fire for 55,000. Spaid continued with a call.

The J arrived on the turn and Spaid checked again. Min bet 150,000, which was enough to get Spaid to let go of his cards.

Camp Can't Get There

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action picked up on the 10K7 flop with a sizable pot brewing between Jeffrey Camp in the cutoff and Mehrdad Yousefzadeh in the big blind.

The rest of the money went in with Camp the one at risk with an open-ended straight draw.

Jeffrey Camp: QJ All in
Mehrdad Yousefzadeh: AA

The 3 turn and Q river offered no help to Camp, and the pot was pushed Yousefzadeh's way.

Yeo Busts Gains

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Beth Gains opened from early position by pushing her remaining stack of 235,000 into the middle of the table. Korte Yeo, in the small blind with a similar stack size, decided to call.

Beth Gains: KQAll in
Korte Yeo: 66

The dealer ran out the board: 410622.

Yeo already hit a set on the flop, and his hand only improved more on the turn and river into a full house, unfortunately for Gains, who had to leave the tournament.

Barracano's Turn Bet Takes Down the Pot

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Nancy Birnbaum bumped it up to 40,000 from middle position with Istvan Toro and Lionel Barracano calling from the blinds.

All three players checked the 7K6 flop, with the 8 joining on the turn. Toro checked once more, but Barracano fired for 100,000. Birnbaum thought for a while before folding, and Toro quickly tossed his cards away, allowing Barracano to drag in the pot.

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Edward Apodaca raised to 60,000 from under the gun, Mark Forster three-bet to 160,000 in the cutoff, and Terry Thomason cold four-bet shoved on the button for 370,000. Apodaca thought for a moment before folding and Forster snap called.

Terry Thomason: KK All in

The flop came 62Q, and Apodaca revealed that he had folded pocket queens. Regret turned back into relief when the A fell on the turn, giving Forster a set of aces. The 10 completed the board and Thomason was sent packing.

Semsettin Ilyas opened from middle position to 40,000. He got called by Frank Connelly on the button and Donald Briggs in the big blind. The dealer showed the flop of JJA.

All three players checked to see the turn K. Briggs put 65,000 in front of him and got called by Semsettin, while Connelly decided to move away.

On the 4 river, both players checked to the showdown. Briggs turned over AQ followed by Semsettin's AQ. Briggs collected the pot as he won with a backdoor diamond flush.
