Quang Sends Gathy Out

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Michael Gathy was already getting up from his seat, having apparently committed approximately his last 300,000 into the middle from under the gun against Larry Quang, who had Gathy covered in the small blind.

Gathy had AK in front of him against Quang's 88 on a completed board of 9736J — leaving Quang's eights best to eliminate Gathy from contention.

Lin Flushes Out a Pair

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Jeffrey Slayton checked the 485 flop from the big blind, and Kyle Lin followed with a check from under the gun. Quirin Heinz fired a bet of 65,000 from the hijack, and Slayton committed his last 25,000 chips.

Lin then raised to 150,000, and Heinz quickly moved all in. The call was made, and all three hands were tabled.

Jeffrey Slayton: 1010 All in
Quirin Heinz: JJ All in
Kyle Lin: A10

Heinz was in front after the flop, but Lin revealed his flush draw. That was promptly completed on the 8 turn, with the 7 river leaving Lin with the best hand. That sent Slayton and Heinz to the payout desk, just as they both picked up the most recent pay jump.

Fernandes Forces Starostin off the Pot

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Ivan Starostin made it 30,000 to play from the hijack and was looked up by William Fernandes on the button.

The dealer peeled off the 1033 flop and Starostin continued for 25,000. Fernandes flat-called.

On the J turn Starostin loaded up a second bullet and fired it off for 60,000. Fernandes flat-called once more.

The J rolled off on the river and Starostin now checked it to Fernandes who tanked for a short while before he moved all in and had Starostin covered. Starostin didn't take long and mucked his cards to send the pot to Fernandes with no show down.

Weinstein Takes the Lead

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Scott Weinstein
Scott Weinstein

Scott Weinstein opened from the hijack and was called by Deven Lane in the big blind.

Lane checked to Weinstein, who continued for 25,000 on the A44 flop. Lane check-raised to 60,000 and Weinstein called.

Weinstein called a 65,000 barrel from Lane on the 10 turn and then both players checked on the 2 river.

Lane tabled 75 for air and Weinstein turned over A9 for aces-up to claim the pot.

Knibbs Asks for It All

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Christopher Knibbs led out for 70,000 in early position after seeing the 2778 turn, and Ivan Starostin made the call on the button.

The 2 river hit the felt, and Knibbs announced all in with his covering stack. Starostin thought for a moment before sending his cards into the muck, and Knibbs collected the pot.
