Baldwin Outkicks Tong

Brandi Baldwin and Chen Tong had already built a pot of around 40,000 on a board of A98J.

On the river 2, Baldwin shoved for 43,000 sending Tong to the tank. She finally made the call and saw Baldwin table AK.

She mucked her hand, but one of the players requested that they turn over the hand to show AQ.

Pluard's River Bet Gets Respect

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jennifer Shahade opened to 1,800 from the hijack and was called by Sarah Pluard on the button and Jean Miccio in the small blind.

Action checked through on the 489 flop and then Miccio led out for 3,000 on the 2 turn. Both Shahade and Pluard called.

The 4 paired the board on the river and it was checked to Pluard, who fired 6,000 into the middle. Miccio and Shahade didn't take long to fold in turn and Pluard was sent the pot.

Tiffany Wong raised from under the gun to 1,800, Min Zhang called from the hijack, and Dawn Lucarelli called from the big blind. The flop dropped with J87. Lucarelli checked, and Wong put out 3,100. Zhang called, and Lucarelli folded.

On the turn K Zhang took the lead and bet 5,500, Wong called.

Both players checked the river 5 and Wong flipped over KJ for two pair and the win, as Zhang mucked.

Ami Ohta opened to 1,600 in late position and Honglian Ye in the big blind called.

The dealer flopped Q84 and action went check, check all the way through the 2 turn and 2 river.

Ye showed 87 for a pair of eights which was enough to win the pot.

Maria Konnikova opened to 1,800 from the cutoff and was called by Minami Kaneko on the button.

Kaneko called a 2,200 bet from Konnikova on the J610 flop and a 7,000 barrel from the Konnikova on the K turn.

However, Kaneko laid her hand down facing a 21,000 bet after the 3 completed the board, surrendering the pot to Konnikova without a showdown.

Liliana Marmolejo raised to 1,6000 and got five callers - Lucia Martinez in hijack, Nancy Matson in cutoff, Christine Difiorekirsch on the button and Lugi Yao in the big blind.

The flop came 2J7. Action was checked to the cutoff, who bet 2,800. Only Martinez stayed behind.

Both players checked the 8 turn but on the 7 river, Martinez led out with 12,000 which was enough to make Matson fold.

Vivianne Gentry opened for 2,000 in late position. Yingge Yan on the button and the blinds, Devotion Brown and Natalja Howell called.

The flop came 263 and after a check from the blinds, Gentry continued with 5,100. Only Howell called.

Howell fired 5,300 on the 4 turn and Gentry called.

Keeping the pressure high, Howell fired another 5,400 and Gentry hung on. Howell tabled 99 prompting Gentry to muck her hand.

Zhou Folds to Collins' Pressure

Yang Zhou opened to 1,600 from under the gun and was called by Cecile Ticherfatine in middle position. Jacqueline Collins then squeezed to 5,600 from the small blind, which got a call from Zhou and a fold from Ticherfatine.

Zhou called a 5,000 bet from Collins on the 1063 flop, but folded after Collins barreled for 8,000 on the 2 turn.
