Kade Catches the River

Heads-up on a board of 4385 with several thousand already in the middle, Vanessa Kade led out for 4,500 from the big blind and Diane Cooley called from under the gun.

The J completed the board and Kade bet 6,500 after a bit of thought. Cooley stuck in a single chip to indicate a call and Kade turned over AJ for a rivered pair of jacks.

Cooley sent her cards into the muck and Kade was sent the pot.

Ehrhart Takes a Multi-Way Pot

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Four players limped the pot- Amanda Salter under the gun, Mary Ostrofsky in early position, Diana Zhao on the button and small blind Tammy Ehrhart. Yumiko Arai in the big blind checked her option.

The flop came 398. It was checked all around.

On the 8 turn, Arai bet 1,000 out of turn, prompting Ehrhart to say, "Ok I check." Salter called and Ostrofsky joined in. Zhao got out of the way. With action back with her, Ehrhart raised to 3,000 and only Ostrofsky called.

The river 10 fell. Ehrhart shot out 5,000 which was enough to take the pot down.

Liu Bests Ramadanovic

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

JJ Liu opened to 1,200 from early position before she faced a three-bet from Amila Ramadanovic to 3,200 from the big blind.

Liu called and sent them to a flop of 410K. Ramadanovic checked before Liu put out a wager of 1,700. Ramadanovic called.

Both players checked the 4 turn to bring the 10 river. Ramadanovic fired 4,000, and Liu made the call to go to a showdown.

Ramadanovic showed 66, but it was no good as Liu tabled JJ for the better pair to claim the pot.

Tuazon's Top Pair Eliminates Huang

Jane Tuazon in early position and Zitong Huang had already built a pot of 5,000 when the flop dropped J39.

Tuazon fired 5,000. Huang replied with an all-in shove for 13,900 making Tuazon smile to herself. she set aside the chips and looked at Huang, tanked a bit then made the call.

Despite whatever was making her hesitate, Tuazon was ahead with top pair. She maintained her lead when the dealer completed the board with a 2 turn and a K river. Huang left the table as Tuazon scooped the pot.

Liu Ships it on Depolo

Aiwie Liu opened to 1,200 from the hijack and was called by Jennifer Depolo on the button.

Depolo called an 800 bet from Liu on the 7Q6 flop and a 2,500 bet from Liu on the Q turn; however, Depolo laid her hand down after Liu shoved for a bit under 10,000 on the K river.
