Dimitar Danchev opened to 70,000 from the button and called when Biao Ding three-bet to 300,000.
The dealer spread a 3♥10♣6♥ flop, and Ding started with a check. Danchev took over the betting lead with a sizing of 200,000, which Ding called before both players checked on the 2♠ turn.
The flush-completing J♥ finished the board, and Ding led out for 600,000. Danchev responded by moving all in, which Ding snap-called.
It was cooler city, with Ding the one wishing he wasn't a resident. Danchev tabled K♥8♥ for a rivered flush, which had found a way to beat the flopped top set of Ding, who tabled 10♠10♥.
After the collision, Ding was left with just two big blinds.
The action was joined with 140,000 in the pot, and a 5♦A♣7♣ flop face up on the felt.
Dimitar Danchev checked his J♥10♣ over to Biao Ding, who, holding K♥2♠ bet 45,000. Danchev called.
The action then checked through on the J♣ turn, with fireworks awaiting the Q♥ river.
Danchev led out for 55,000 and was met with a raise to 200,000 from Ding. Not to be outdone, Danchev three-bet to 700,000. That bet put an end to the conversation, as Ding returned his cards to the dealer, and the stacks returned to equal.
Thomas Boivin opened to 70,000 on the button, and Alex Foxen called.
The action checked through on the monotone 7♥4♥6♥ flop, seeing a fourth heart join with the A♥.
Foxen opted to lead out for 45,000, which Boivin called.
The J♣ completed the board, and Foxen slowed down with a check. Boivin took over the betting lead, firing 150,000 into the pot. Foxen sprang into action, check-raising to 575,000. Boivin utilised multiple time extensions before choosing to call, but it was bad news for the Belgian. Foxen tabled K♥6♦ for the nuts, as Boivin showed his own flush with K♦J♥.

Puustinen found no immediate help on the J♣2♦9♣ flop, but did pick up a flush draw on the 4♦ turn.
It wasn't to be for Puustinen, though, as the 2♠ river bricked out, ensuring Kuznetsov was the first player through to the semifinals.
Thomas Boivin opened to 60,000 on the button, and Alex Foxen called.
Both players checked on the 8♠7♠J♦ flop, but when Foxen checked again on the 6♠ turn, Boivin bet 60,000. Foxen called.
The Q♣ river completed the board, and both players checked.
Foxen flipped over A♣6♥, but did not have the winner, as Boivin showed 7♦5♠.

Kuznetsov led out for 30,000 on the flop of J♦K♣2♦ and Puustinen called. Kuznetsov then checked on the 7♦ turn and Puustinen checked back.
Kuznetsov checked again on the 3♣ river and Puustinen bet 80,000. Kuznetsov called with his pair of ducks and took down the pot.

Kuznetsov checked on the flop of 6♥K♦A♥ and Puustinen bet 30,000. Kuznetsov called. Kuznetsov checked again on the 6♠ turn and Puustinen sized up to 240,000. Kuznetsov called.
Kuznetsov bet 180,000 after filling up on the 10♥ river and Puustinen raised to 750,000. Kuznetsov then three-bet to 1,739,000 and Puustinen folded to stay alive.
