Xiaoyao Ma raised from the button to 90,000, Luis Faria three-bet from the small blind to 270,000, and Daniel Rezaei four-bet from the big blind to 460,000. Ma folded, and Faria moved all in for 250,000 more. Rezaei called and discovered he was behind heading to the board.

Luis Faria: QQ All in
Daniel Rezaei: 1010

The board was looking good for Faria until the river 6J5K10. Rezaei hit his ten for a set of tens and the win.

One of the other players teased him, saying, "The life of Daniel Rezaei."

Weis Takes Out Mathis

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Oliver Weis raised to 80,000 from under the gun and Marty Mathis called from the big blind.

When Mathis saw the 864 flop, he jammed for 190,000. Weis reluctantly called, and the players tabled their cards.

Marty Mathis: Q10 All in
Oliver Weis: AK

Mathis was behind to Weis' big slick after the flop, but picked up some additional outs on the 9 turn.

The A on the river gave Weis top pair, which was not what Mathis needed, and he was sent to the exit.

Josh Arieh: QQ All in
Dominykas Mikolaitis: AK

The board ran out J5KJ5, and Arieh was eliminated.

Action picked up on the flop of 2K7 in a hand between Facundo Trigueiro on the button, and Patros Behnam in the big blind.

Joseph Tatarski checked from the cutoff on the 733 flop, and Jon Kyte bet 80,000 from the button. Tatarski elected to just call.

The 5 on the turn prompted both players to check before the Q completed the board. Tatarski checked for a final time, and Kyte bet 210,000. Tatarski gave it up, and Kyte added to his stack.

Smiljkovic Jacked Out of Tournament

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Jeremy Dan raised to 80,000 under the gun. Daniel Smiljkovic, to his immediate left in the hijack, three-bet to 220,000.

Markus Gonsalves, in the big blind, tanked for a minute, then shoved all in with about 1,100,000 chips. Dan got out of the way; Smiljkovic called with less.

Daniel Smiljkovic: JJ All in
Markus Gonsalves: KK

Gonsalves' kings held through the runout of 56A93, sending Smiljkovic to the rail.

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Pecheux and Rezaei Raised Out

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The hand was picked up on the flop of 5Q3.

Jeremy Izquierdo and Daniel Rezaei checked from the big blind and hijack, respectively. Erwann Pecheux bet 75,000 from the button. Izquierdo called, then Rezaei raised to 270,000.

After Pecheux called the check-raise, Izquierdo came with a rare check-call-reraise move to 650,000.

It was convincing. Rezaei folded quickly. Pecheux didn't take much longer to let his hand go, either.

Arieh Survives; Okamura Heads Home

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Josh Arieh

Dominykas Mikolaitis raised to 80,000 from the cutoff and Josh Arieh jammed for 430,000 from the big blind. Mikolaitis snap-called to put the seven-time bracelet winner at risk.

Josh Arieh: AQ All in
Dominykas Mikolaitis: KK

Arieh needed to find an ace to survive, but it didn't appear on the 410J flop, although he did pick up a few additional outs with a straight draw.

The A on the turn was perfect for Arieh, and now only a river queen would end his tournament.

It never came, as the 3 completed the board, earning Arieh the double-up.

Motoyoshi Okamura has vacated his chair, and is the newest elimination of the tournament.
