Updated Counts Table 118

Level 4 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Richard Gryko doubled his short stack through Phillipp Mellon when his QQ104 flopped top and bottom pair on the 105462 board. Mallon got some of the chips back when his top two pair were good in showdown before there was three-way limped action ahead of him when Mellon was in the big blind.

Veselin Karakitukov, Sean Rafael and Gryko all put in the 5,000 chips. Mellon then raised to 25,000 and was called by Karakitukov as well as Rafael. The 532 flop was checked to Rafael who bet 28,000, Mellon folded and Karakitukov called.

Heads-up to the 7 turn, Karakitukov checked again. Rafael asked for the pot size and then bet 70,000 into 139,000 to win the pot uncontested.

Matakis Slides Down

Level 4 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Ian Matakis limped on the button for 5,000 and Farid Jattin called from the small blind. Jeremy Druckman checked the big blind and the players saw a AA10 flop. Action was checked to the 4 turn and the blinds checked to Matakis who bet 10,000. Jattin raised to 24,000 and both players mucked.

The next hand saw Matakis in the cutoff and in a hand with Naoya Kihara who defended his big blind to see the A93 flop.

The pot stood at 45,000 and Kihara checked to Matakis who bet 15,000. Kihara made a quick call and both checked to see the 2 turn.

Kihara moved out 55,000 which was enough for Matakis to fold his hand and he slid down just over half a starting stack.

The 25A flop was checked by both Gryko and Mellon before Nagy continued for 25,000. Gryko called, but Mellon got out of the hand with a fold.

The 4 turn led to a check from Gryko once again. Nagy put out another barrel, this time for 50,000. Gryko mucked his hand to award the pot to Nagy.

Ian Matakis called from the big blind and Lonis four-bet to pot which was just short of his remaining 106,000 stack, and Parssinen five-bet covering Lonis's remaining change and Matakis got out of the way, leaving the pair to go to showdown with Lonis at risk.

Eelis Parssinen: AA94

Lonis was looking to improve on his pair of queens, but the 1054 flop wasn't enough to help him.

Kihara checked and Koon asked for the size of the pot, which was 190,000 by then.

"He said pot?" Kihara asked the dealer on the other side of the table and leaned out of his chair. However, Koon had not acted yet and placed two T-100,000 chips into the middle shortly after. No call followed by Kihara and Koon reached seven figures.

New on the same table is Farid Jattin who just entered the tournament.
