Branden Shimamoto

Branden Shimamoto made it 35,000 to play from the button and was looked up by Itai Levy in the small blind and Christopher Bennett in the big blind.

It was checked around on the Q83 flop for the 9 to peel off on the turn. Levy led out for 65,000, and only Shimamoto made the call.

On the 6 river, Levy checked it over to Shimamoto, who fired off a river bet of 250,000. Levy went into the tank briefly before he made the call, but was shocked to see Shimamoto table 107 for a rivered straight. Shimamoto was pushed the healthy pot to climb over the one-million-chip mark.
