Madsen Doubles With Pat Seven

Level 7

2-7 Triple Draw

Catching the action after the second draw, Jeff Madsen bet from the small blind, and Chad Eveslage raised in the cutoff. Madsen took some time before calling and patting, with Eveslage also remaining pat in response.

Madsen then led out with a bet after the draw, leaving just a few T-100 chips back, and Eveslage instantly called. Madsen showed 7x6x5x4x2x, and Eveslage's cards quickly hit the muck in defeat.

Shortly before Pat Pezzin lost his final bet at another table and was eliminated.

Play Resumes

Level 7

Dara Taherpour was all in against Dario Sammartino in a hand of Seven Card Stud and ended up with a diamond flush. Sammartino mucked, but the rest of the table insisted that Sammartino had a higher flush and should've won the pot to eliminate Taherpour.

Taherour didn't dispute it, and they asked tournament officials to check the cameras. It took nearly 20 minutes, but it was determined that Sammartino's cards couldn't be conclusively determined on the footage, and Taherpour was allowed to stay in the tournament.

Kihara Hangs On to Double Off Pan

Level 7

Pot-Limit Omaha

Qinghai Pan raised to 4,200 under the gun and Naoya Kihara called in the hijack.

The flop came 8410 and Pan bet 11,400. Kihara then moved all in for 43,000, and Pan called.

Naoya Kihara: KJ108 All in
Qinghai Pan: KQJ7

Kihara had flopped top two pair, while Pan had straight and flush draws. The turn was the A, while the 6 river was safe for Kihara to secure the double-up.

"PLO specialist," tablemate Christopher Vitch told him.
