Action checked around on the flop to Leonardo Martins in the cutoff who bet 60,000 and only Aiden Guo on the button called.
Both players checked the turn.
Martins bet 275,000 on the river and Guo tossed his hand away.

Jacob Fishbein bet out for 35,000 into the field from the hijack, before Casey Carroll on his left moved all in for 135,000. Lucas Hillman then moved all in for slightly more than 400,000, and Fishbein let his hand go.
Casey Carroll: A♦Q♥9♥9♠
Lucas Hillman: A♠9♦8♥4♣
Hillman was essentially freerolling with his straight draw, as Carroll had no immediate outs on the bottom board. The top turn made Hillman's straight draw irrelevant, as the bottom turn secured the chop.

Action was picked up on the turn in a multiway pot between Brad Ruben in first position, Julio Trimmer in the hijack, and Joseph Ritzie on the button. Everyone checked to Ritzie who bet 35,000 and Ruben raised all in for 191,000 to see both Ritzie and Trimmer call.
Trimmer jammed on the river for 412,000 effective and Ritzie tossed his hand away.
Brad Ruben: J♠J♣10♦9♦
Julio Trimmer: Q♠10♣8♥4♠
Both players took back their bets as they chopped with Ruben hold a flush on the first board while Trimmer held a boat on the second.

David Wells potted to 96,000 on the flop, and Justin Fawcett on his left repotted to 384,000. Action folded around to Wells, who called all in.
David Wells: J♠7♣6♣6♦
Justin Fawcett: 9♥9♠6♠5♥
"That was the one thing I didn't want to see," said Wells as cards were placed on their backs. Fawcett pointed out that he even had a blocker to his opponent's quads.
Wells needed a seven or jack on the bottom to chop, as well as having outs to running cards on each board. Unfortunately for him, none came, as Fawcett raked in his chips.

Action was picked up on the river, with Cameron Mixson all in for his final 242,000. Yuanting Wang had made the call, with Stephen Biggar all in for just shy of 300,000. Wang, again, matched that bet.
Cameron Mixson: Q♥J♥7♠4♥
Stephen Biggar: A♦A♥Q♠9♥
Yuanting Wang: K♠J♦4♦2♥
Mixson's queens full on the top chopped with Wang's deuces full on the bottom. The saving grace for Biggar was his queen, as he chopped the side pot with Wang to stay alive.

Action was picked up with cards on their backs in a pot between Igor Zektser in the big blind and Alex Difelicele in middle position.
Difelicele was all in 90,000 with a pair of jacks on one board and a gutshot straight draw on the other, while Zektser held a set on one board and a pair of twos on the other.
Alex Difelicele: J♦7♦6♠4♠
Igor Zektser: 6♣3♠2♠2♦
The gutshot came home on the turn for Difelicele and he made a better flush on the other board to scoop and double through the WSOP bracelet winner.
In the 983rd episode of the PokerNews Podcast, which is sponsored by FanDuel Poker, Chad Holloway and Mike Holtz are at Level 9 Studio in Las Vegas to discuss one of the wilder days in World Series of Poker (WSOP) history!
Not only did the 2026 WSOP $10,000 Main Event officially kick off, complete with Phil Hellmuth's patented circus-like entrance, but both Daniel Negreanu and Martin Kabrhel snagged gold bracelets. That allowed the former to crack the top ten in the 2026 WSOP Player of the Year race, while the latter drew the ire of some fans when he refused to shake the hand of his opponent.
Chad and Mike get into it all, while also thanking sponsor Think Jerky, which you can order here, and shouting out Overlords Caps, of which they're both big fans.
Find out all about those stories and more in this week's episode of the PokerNews Podcast! Oh, and be sure to check out the audio version of the PokerNews Podcast that is available on all major podcasting platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and SoundCloud.
