Yoshiba's Sevens Good, Eliminates Kausinis

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Daniel Yoshiba opened to 200,000 under the gun and with only around 80,000 behind, Edgaras Kausinis shoved all-in. When action folded to the big blind, Justin Shiao called, creating a side pot of 240,000

The dealer flopped A3K and Yoshiba and Shiao checked all through the turn 3 and river J.

Shiao showed 85 while Yoshiba tabled 77. Kausinis got on his feet ready to leave and threw his hand towards the dealer face up showing Qx7x.

The hand was picked up with the board reading J465, with Edgaras Kausinis and Antonio Subire in a blind-on-blind heads-up, and Subire had the shorter stack.

Antonio Subire: 97All in
Edgaras Kausinis: AA

Kausinis got the sobering news that Subire had turned a flush to crack his aces and do major damage to his tournament hopes. The 8 on the river was inconsequential.

Liu Felts Berson onthe River

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Roman Berson open-shoved for 1,105,000 under the gun and when action folded around to the big blind, Zixuan Liu set aside the chips for a call but mulled over things before actually pushing it in.

Roman Berson: 22 All in
Zixuan Liu: KQ

Berson got on his feet the moment the hands were tabled. He was safe on the first street when it fell 356 but it gave Liu more outs with the flush draw. Berson faded the 6 turn as Liu contunued to lurk ever so close to beating his hand.

Liu pounced and took Berson's lead away when the K fell on the river, sending him out to claim his cashout prize.

Yoshiba let his hand go.

Hotz Catches Set and Doubles

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Dennis Hotz in the small blind shoved all-in for 505,000 and Zixuan Liu in the big blind called instantly.

Dennis Hotz: 66 All in
Zixuan Liu: A10

Despite catching a set, Hotz was visibly nervous when the flop dropped 462. The dealer peeled a 10 which gave Liu a pair but was still nowhere near Hotz lead. Hotz let out a big sigh of relief when the Q river secured his double up.
